Believe it or not, there are actually many laws of physics that govern [[Mayhem]], although even these are frequently broken. These generally are, however, vastly different from those of [[Earth]].

==Some of the Laws==
0: The GM Rule: What GM says, goes. Meaning you if you don't listen.

1: Don't piss off the bartender of the RP. You usually get blasted or hit by

2: Super Bouncer. The bouncer of said [[Kylen's Interdimensional Bar|bar]] is uber strong.

3: No ID Checks.

4: If a character is being played by [[Kum-El]], someone will fall in love with him before the day is done. 
4a: She will, most likely, be someone played by [[10.0.0.1|10]]. 
4b: Even if the character is deliberately anti-social. 
4c: The only exceptions seem to be if the RP dies a quick death.

5: There WILL be one character everyone, including the writer, hates.

6: If there are no powers or magic, expect Super Tech.

7: 10 will play a female with a screwed up past.

8: No matter how weird or abnormal, people will ALWAYS be accepted, and able to find 'true love'.

9: 10's girl will likely prove the above rule correct.

10: School RPs always have a love potion of some kind.

50: Anyone who controls Electricity will have found out about their ability by frying their Computer/MP3 player/Phone/Robot Dog.

51: All of Yun's characters are at least bilingual. 
51a: Even if he has to make up the second language himself.

52: At least one of Kylen's characters will be curtained for violence or otherwise at least once in the first 200 pages of said character's involvement in RP.

53: What happens BTC doesn't always stay BTC.

54: BTC will always mean Behind the [[Tasteful Curtain|Curtain]].

55: If a character has a secret that they want to keep hidden from other characters, it will always always be revealed when they think no-one is watching. 
55a: They will do one of two things: Tell nobody, or tell everybody. There is no middle ground.

56: Certain characters always seem to be quiet for strangely long periods of time before suddenly speaking up, while others are always talking.

57: If something is revealed OOC it will be revealed IC within a page or less.

58: Fawe's characters will be stalkers at least once in the RP.

59: the Mike Kent Rule: Romance Sense SUCKS!

60: Any bad habits held by a character will be broken by another.

61: Anything that is set up for a cliché ending will have said ending.

62: There will be a Wiki in under a month or 2 of no plot movement.

Name: Courtney Daymine

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Height: 5'4"

Weight: 119 lbs. (in human form)

Build: A toned, slender (not necessarily skinny) body. Not much in the way of curves.

Species: Originally human, now an anthrofeline; but known to [[Kalga]] as a drow.

==Appearance==

Under normal circumstances, Courtney's skin is colored a deep charcoal gray, swirled with a muddy beige and patches of other earth tones. Tiny lavender crystals jut out from her skin at irregular intervals. Her hair was a bright white, now maroon (due to Kalga's meddling) which falls in stringy clumps down to the middle of her back. She has a several runes colored a deep violet down her right paw and forearm as well as a single one on her neck.

Recently however, [[KF-Oz]] has (with Courtney's permission) transformed her into an anthrofeline, giving her a fluffy, charcoal-colored coat of fur with orange patches and white boots and mittens as well as the tail, ears, claws, etc. normal to the species. In addition, even for her species, her ears and feet are quite large. She also had a pink streak in her hair which was acquired due to magic and cannot be dispelled due to plot, however, it was covered up with the maroon hair; but will grow pink at the roots. Because her author (and Kalga) is evil like that.

Courtney currently wears a violet T-shirt with white trim and acid-washed capri-cut blue jeans. She doesn't wear socks or shoes, as she quickly learned that such things were not at all designed for cat feet.

Courtney comes from a world where evolution has brought forth mutations and the obligatory superpowers that clearly must come from such an effect. However, the vast majority of mutants come in two forms: those who have little to no physical mutations, whose powers are mostly benign and insignificant and who can assimilate easily into society, generally without people knowing they're mutants at all; and those who have obvious physical anomalies, whose powers are dynamic, allowing them to be praised as superheroes throughout the world, defeating the forces or evil and so forth. Courtney, however, is one of the unfortunate few who received the short end of both sticks.

Despite her vivid physical mutations, the only power she's been able to strain from them is the ability to glow faintly. Not that this stopped a supergroup from taking her in at age 15, believing her true powers merely needed to be coerced out, not realizing they were already there.

Courtney was often very averse to training, mainly because she failed to see the point. After months of this frustration, the supergroup issued her an ultimatum: she would train as hard as they wanted, as much as they wanted, or she would be thrown out onto the street, seen to the world as a failure; a traitor; a freak. Fearfully, she obliged them.

The training continued for years, seemingly getting more rigorous every day, but with Courtney gaining nothing aside from a toned physique. She would be sent on missions much like any other recruit, but without super-anything, she was hopelessly overmatched. Courtney grew to despise the group she was with, whose inspirational words slowly turned to mocking jeers, but felt too insignificant to do anything about it- including leave. Fortunately, the choice wasn't hers to make.

Due to a mishap involving a man who a) is inconsiderate to light sleepers, especially at post-midnight hours, b) is adept at the distortion and manipulation of space-time, and c) tries way too hard to cheat at Dance Dance Revolution, Courtney was drawn into a portal, banished from her home dimension and sent to Mayhem; trapped in a world where not only does everyone seem weird to some extent, but a world she is under no obligation to save.

She has never been happier. The only worry she has is that one day, she might get drawn back...

===Post-Arrival Background===
Courtney 'landed' in the Hotel in [[LPW]], shaken and disoriented from her trip, but a group of people staying in the room near her invited her in for breakfast and subsequently to the Pavilion, where she is currently staying.

She received the runes on her arm from [[Kalga]], who has taught her minor magical techniques, thought she has little if any innate magical potential.

After overhearing Courtney talk about how she can't "not be human," [[KF-Oz]] offered her the chance to be something else. Courtney agreed, and KF-Oz used her transformative abilities to make Courtney into an anthrofeline. This has resulted in a significant shift in her self-image, as she no longer feels like a freak. She still denies any allegations that she's cute, however.

Since then, she has also befriended [[Hel]], a teenage-looking death goddess, who not only insists Courtney is cute but enjoys hugging and cuddling with her at every possible opportunity. The way Hel acts towards Courtney (and to a lesser extent, Courtney's tolerance of said actions) has led some to wonder if either is attracted to the other, though Courtney insists she's straight as an arrow.

Normally, Courtney can only glow poorly, a full-body glow providing roughly the same illumination as a candle. However, her natural bioluminescence combined with minor pyromancy results in the creation of a bright, magenta-colored flame. While still not particularly useful, Courtney is proud of being able to do something with it.

Courtney sees everything as needing a tangible outcome or goal in order to be relevant. This trait, which has been hard-wired into her from years of fruitless pursuits, makes Last Post Wins even more complicated than it already is to her, as there are so many things within it that she simply cannot predict. While she is slowly learning that how things happen is often not as important as simply that they happen, it will likely be a while before her mind stops trying to justify everyone's actions, if it ever happens.

Courtney also has difficulties with indecisiveness, always fearing that the decision she makes will end up being the wrong one. Furthermore, she tends not to trust her instincts or impulses, mainly because, in her eyes, they're telling her to be a greedy, selfish brat.

The conflict has also caused visions to occasionally appear to her, taking on representations of her optimism and pessimism, who solicit her advice. It is currently unclear why exactly these visions have appeared.

Rationalizing her actions, claiming that "I don't have to follow a command that no longer exists," Courtney has rebelled from many rules her supergroup imposed onto her, most noticeably their rules regarding her diet and exercise regimen. She's much more inclined now to slack off, not bother working out, and eat whatever she wants. She still isn't a very big eater, though, with two exceptions: she tends to eat more when she's stressed out, and she has an affinity for sweets, especially brownies, which she would eat her weight in given the opportunity.

While Courtney will try to explain her history to anyone interested, she dislikes announcing this information unsolicited, instead choosing to be vague about her past. She does this purposefully, as she doesn't wish to remember her own background. After all, what difference does it make? That's not her home anymore. Recently however, she has given those staying at the Pavilion a (somewhat biased) account of her old world, to which she received much comfort both from those she told and from simply telling it. Tiny lavender crystals jut out from her skin at irregular intervals. Her hair was a bright white, now maroon (due to Kalga's meddling) which falls in stringy clumps down to the middle of her back. She has a several runes colored a deep violet down her right paw and forearm as well as a single one on her neck.

Recently however, [[KF-Oz]] has (with Courtney's permission) transformed her into an anthrofeline, giving her a fluffy, charcoal-colored coat of fur with orange patches and white boots and mittens as well as the tail, ears, claws, etc. normal to the species. In addition, even for her species, her ears and feet are quite large. She also had a pink streak in her hair which was acquired due to magic and cannot be dispelled due to plot, however, it was covered up with the maroon hair; but will grow pink at the roots. Because her author (and Kalga) is evil like that.

Courtney currently wears a violet T-shirt with white trim and acid-washed capri-cut blue jeans. She doesn't wear socks or shoes, as she quickly learned that such things were not at all designed for cat feet.

Mostly she hangs around the main forums, where she lurks around the comic and filler threads, plus a few FanArt threads. She also has her own fanart thread. In Mayhem, she used to go to a few RPs, but has stopped due to lazyness. She mostly lurks in Mayhem, although she does frequent the Hug Hospital, Goonmanji and Where in the World.

Although not great, her art is okay. When drawing the characters from EGS, she always attempts to mimic Dan's style. Her art has progressed since the starting of her fanart thead, particularly in the area of eyes, which are heading in an animeish direction, although she is trying to steady it and make then look more realistic. The latest picture posted on both her deviantArt and in her fanart thread is her muse, Keechie (see below). It was mostly copy/paste, but still a reasonable effort was put in. Right now, she is brainstorming ideas for 'Elliot'-y memories Ellen might have, and also playing around in Corel Painter.

== Names/Nicknames ==
Her real name is Marina, so she goes by a variety of names; Mari, Rina, Marina, Vamp, Vampiress, Kat, and, by a certain evil blue kitty by the name of Troy, Lil Mari. The last name she resents and goes to all lengths to prevent being called it.
The only explanation that has been found for her using the username 'vampiress_kat' is that it is a habit. She had been using it for a while in some fantasy RPs and on Gaia (which she has stopped going to) and got into the habit of using it, even after she no longer rememberred the original site she used it on.

== Avatar ==
Kat has several characters on Mayhem, most of which have gone idle. This is because she is a lazy bum who can't be bothered getting back into the RPs.
Her avatar is a 15-year-old catgirl with medium-brown fur and dark-brown hair in braids. She is usually portrayed wearing a peasant-ish black top, rolled-up-to-the-ankle jeans and runners. From time to time, she also has a belt with holsters for her TF Gun and Chibi Pistol, and usually swords strapped to her back. Although the Chibi Pistol can be converted to be attachable to the TF Gun, Kat prefers having the two guns seperate for that extra-dramatic effect.

S.Illus is a relatively new Bunny to the forums, but a long-time EGS reader. She thinks of herself as very young compared to the rest of the Bunnies and, for that reason, doesn't like to post much due to seeming immature. She's not too good at making wiki pages, so don't shoot her.

S.Illus is a GIRL. Yeah. Now that that's out of the way...
She's fifteen. She was added to the "How Old Is That Bunny" thread when she was fourteen, though, but it's not an auto-updating thing. Trust her, she's fifteen. She doesn't talk in third person much, but this seems to be an exception. As a new bunny to the forums, she's just kind of wading into the waters, but apparently, some of the bunnies believe she is "very liked [t]here." She draws, but she hasn't posted anything yet.
She wants to have a southern Bunny meeting, and maybe meet somewhere in Texas. Because going out-of-state is out of the question for her.

She usually looks at the new comic thread, at least reads the first few pages. She used to do this all the time, but for some reason, one day just...quit.
The '07 Comic-Con thread brought her back to the forum because she's planning on attending the one in '08. She decided that she'd need to get to know the bunnies she'd be meeting if everything went well and she managed to make it.
She sneaks around Mayhem when she gets the time and posts some on Say Something About the Last Poster and Why Should the Last Poster Be Banned?. She'd love to join an Rp, but she's yet to find one that's open and accepting without her having to read thirty pages and catch up. She's also very lazy.
On August 13, 2007, she walked into the EGS Store Reborn. We'll see what happens.

Abilities When Transformed: She can do what most typically unfriendly snakes do... Shed some skin (which is good for camoflauge), carry venom in her teeth, unlock her jaw to eat something bigger than her (not humans!) and of course there's always the option of her strangling someone by coiling around her neck.

Personality: If you had to summarise Ruby in two words, they would have to be 'evil bitch'. And I don't just mean the prissy queen bee that you find in high school, I mean really evil. Like if she had to choose between friendship or fame/fortune/something-that-would-generally-be-quite-selfish, you know she would kill her 'friends' for the latter.

Appearance (Human): Available on DeviantArt.

Appearance: (Mixed): Having her DNA mixed with something that has no legs, she is not built to be in the half-human, half-animal stage. She has to be one or the other. So, what I'm getting at here is that there will not be any "mixed" looks. If there EVER was one however, think of the Mariliths in the Final Fantasy series. You know? Half woman, half snake? Just a sudden thought I'd like to add.

Background: Ruby is one of the new experiments by Department Q, thus she has not been able to go on as many missions as some of the older experiments. She happily killed who would've been her biological mother as a final test to her abilities. Why it had to be her mother, we're still unsure. (She wouldn't have recognised her anyway.)

Personality: A little on the lazy side, Regina is normally vary laid back and outgoing. She enjoys eating sushi and swimming. She is very kind and affectionate, but you wouldn't want to make her angry.

Apperance (Human): She has dark skin and very light, silver hair (think Storm from X-men) About 5 1/2 feet, 135 lbs. She has peircing blue eyes. She's cute and curvy! She has two extra long strands of hair on her forhead(antenae) that she keeps tucked behind her ears. Misc fact: all polar bears are left handed.

Appearnace: (Mixed): About 6 feet tall, a fur covered, clawed humanoid.

Backround: Trained to always follow orders unquestioningly, Regina does just that. She's killed a number of people, never really thinking about her actions or wondering why. She always looked up to the scientists in charge of watching her and never even thought to wonder if what they were doing was right or wrong.

*Personality: He's rather stupid, and often has to read aloud. He's usually dependent on one of his smarter squadmates to tell him what to do. He's very loyal to his squad because of this. He enjoys fighting and sparring matches with him often get out of hand.

*Appearance (Human): 5'3, stocky build. Has black, buzz-cut hair, black eyes that seem slightly too close to each other and stubby fingers and toes. Wears combat boots and trousers and a black T-shirt.

*Appearnace: (Mixed): His posture becomes slightly hunched (like Guineas) and his face becomes more boar-like, with a snout and tusks. He has a short, bristly black fur, which forms into a mohican-like thing on his head. He grows a tail.

*Backround: Made no attempts to escape. Ever. This is partly due to him never thinking of it and partly due to the fact that he was always happy in the Nest.

Appearance (Human): His hair goes down to the middle of his back, and is brownish blond in colour. He is about 5'9", and, even in his human form, has long teeth.

Appearance: (Mixed):He is a mix of many types of bats, and has Uyoum blood to try to stabilize the transformation. Since he didn't have as many as Vlad, he is safe to transform, but it hurts more than most. He wears a oversized blue shirt, and baggy grey pants, although on missions, wears a open combat vest instead of the shirt, with holes for wings.[http://www.egscomics.com/d/20040709.html has a large, batlike nose, with huge ears, and long bownish-blond hair.(I based him on Vlad's initial appearance.]He was seen as a 'test phase' for what would become Vlad in the American branch, and can control what parts he transforms, such as torso only, or growing wings. Background: Van got his name from a young Japanese geneticist who used to work at the Department until he was 10, named Dr. Naomi Hibiya. She was a mother figure to Van, due to a miscarriage of her own baby at 18. A natural genius, she signed on at only 15, three years before Van was 'born'

* Grey loves all the training and assignments they gave him. He would complete them with utmost efficency and lethality.

==Personality==
He is very serious when he needs to be, but generally he seems lazy. Grey is a logical thinker and has been in many a battle. It is said he can visualize the trajectory of a bullet exactly, resulting in an almost inhuman accuracy. Because of his great talking skill, he can easily get a total stranger to talk to him about anything - it's quite effective when used towards picking up girls for example. That said, he normally doesn't talk much. Grey makes use of sleight-of-hand techniques to win card games, pick pockets, and even to slip things onto other people unnoticed. He just takes life as it comes. He also enjoys sleeping and that may tie into his mantra of 'living a dream'. He also has incredible luck in gambling games. Prefers using his own gun first so as not to revel he is a Department Q experiment. Grey is unfortunately not very good at social interaction off the battlefield: he has no readily available "civil" concepts about life, like entertainment or anything recreational and tends to horribly misinterpret the actions of people around him. He does not like Loud People. He prefers his code name to his real one. He loves Fish, primarily Salmon, and Honey.

Abilities: Experienced hacker, good with electronics and security systems (direct interface). Very stealthy and sneaky. Has built-in prosthetic devices and replacement parts in her to aid this stuff (parts of her brain, her tail-bones, bits of her digestive systems and has kind of bracelet-things that have snap-out metal claws that can be fired as high-electric tazers. Also one bionic eye, and an antenna in her tail. Needs recharging as conversion rate to electricity from normal food is low.

Personality: Very quiet, slightly shy, has a habit of wandering around quietly. Sometimes spaces out due to hacking side-effects. Occasionally makes a big scene when she wants to be seen.

Apperance (Human): Kind of oriental looking, slightly pointy ears and dark black hair. Retains her tail in human form (due to implants, to revert it would badly hurt and tear bits of circutry and stuff out of her). Short (5 feet tall). Has a metal plate in her front left shoulder area (just under her collarbone) with recharge/connection port.
Appearnace: (Mixed): Very lithe black furred catlike anthromorph, w

Backround: Having had several operations (with the results being painful for quite a while) throughout her life Cassie tends to be withdrawn slightly, though she tries to maintain in good cheer. Having refused to kill personally in tests, nearly becoming cataconic (pun not intended) when attempted to be forced to, she's nevertheless not been discarded as a failure - as she's more of an espionage agent than an assassin, she's been kept. Not to mention her bionic parts and operations were nearly just as expensive as the uryonym eggs and stuff, so the agency is loathe to simply remove her.

While she isn't a pacifist, she doesn't understand death, and is very sensitive to violence. Because of this, she is usually assigned to recon or another job that keeps her out of the line of fire. However, on occasion, her personality will do a 180 and she will become a ruthless, merciless killer. She becomes cold, quiet, and focused on the job. This is rare enough, however, that usually, they don't risk the chance she'll turn back into normal Sora.

Appearance (Human): She has long green hair that reaches to her knees. Also, she has two green and feathery antenae around where Grace's are, though she can remove them at will (like Grace). She wears flowing, seventies-esque clothing that flares out at the sleeves and is brightly coloured. Her eyes are Blue (left) and green (right) respectively. She is five feet even... and... uh... I think that's it. Poke me ifn I fergot anything.

Appearance (Mixed): She gets smaller, and lighter... And gets wings! Her legs become scaly talon thingies, and are orangy-yellow. Her beak is the same colour. Her feathers are a wide variety of colours, though mostly green. Her arms are still mostly human, though feathery. The wings themselves are on her back, extended from her shoulder blades.

Abilities: She can fly (duh). As a greater chimera (i.e., has Uryuom DNA), she can technically gain more forms. However, no one has actually made use of this ability in her. Unike Vlad, she can't fly without her wings. However, a small amount of hummingbird DNA allows her to hover, at the expense of a lot of energy. As she has Uryuom DNA, she is a minor telekinetic, but this takes a lot out of her, and is only used as a last resort. She has superhuman eyesight in her hybrid form, and it is also excellent in her human form. This makes her ideal for reconnaissance.

Background: She was originally designed to test the possibility of an airborne assassin who would hopefully have less trouble transforming than Vlad did. They succeeded on that part; her transformation, while not without some pain, is significantly less elaborate than that of Vlad, and thus much more survivable. However, there was one fatal flaw; the method of training.
They wanted to test an experimental training regiment on her. So it was, at the age of nine, they isolated her from her peers for eight years. They attempted to remove the influence of other children in order to remove her connection to other people, and to make her into a ruthless killing machine. It worked, but not entirely. At first, she seemed to be the perfect assassin. And then, quite suddenly, she was distracted by one of the scientist's glasses. They quickly discovered that, most of the time, she has the mentality of a child, because they denied her the opportunity to mature outside of their influence. They deemed her a failure, and stuck her in recon.

Personality: Van's a plotter. And a Schemer. He has a plan for any occasion. He is a born leader, and, if was completely human, would have made a good military adviser. He cares for his squad, and sees to it they all get back, every time.

Appearance (Human): His hair goes down to the middle of his back, and is brownish blond in colour. He is about 5'9", and, even in his human form, has long teeth.

Appearance: (Mixed):He is a mix of many types of bats, and has Uyoum blood to try to stabilize the transformation. Since he didn't have as many as Vlad, he is safe to transform, but it hurts more than most. He wears a oversized blue shirt, and baggy grey pants, although on missions, wears a open combat vest instead of the shirt, with holes for wings.[url=http://www.egscomics.com/d/20040709.html]has a large, batlike nose, with huge ears, and long bownish-blond hair.(I based him on Vlad's initial appearance.[/url]He was seen as a 'test phase' for what would become Vlad in the American branch, and can control what parts he transforms, such as torso only, or growing wings. Because a ten foot wingspan gets in the way sometimes.

Background: Van got his name from a young Japanese geneticist who used to work at the Department until he was 10, named Dr. Naomi Hibiya. She was a mother figure to Van, due to a miscarriage of her own baby at 18. A natural genius, she signed on at only 15, three years before Van was 'born'
Abilities while transformed: While fully transformed, he can untransform parts of his body of a limited time. Enhanced hearing, and enhanced sight and smell. Flight due to large bat wings.
