Brief Description
Girard is my character for the Swordsman RP, which never got started. He is basically a German take on the eastern concept of an old Weapon Master who teaches the young the Art of the Blade. His weapon of choice is a Zweihänder.
He was last seen aboard the Black Dream, just before it disappeared.
Physical Description
Girard is 53 yr old Germanic male. His Nordic ancestry is obvious, with his blond hair, ice blue eyes & his six foot six physique. He still is in good shape, despite his age. When he's expecting battle, he wears a Burgonet, with Breatplate & Tassets.
Currently, he's dressed in fine, courtly clothing, with a Breastplate over the top & his Zweihander strapped to his back.
Personality
Girard is a very serious man & a natural teacher. He takes his role as a weapons instructor seriously, knowing that if he fails as a teacher, it could mean the death of his pupils.
However, in other areas of his life he can be quite jovial. He likes to eat, drink & be merry. He also loves a good competition or challenge. Despite his size, he's quite intelligent, though not a genius by any means. However, he prefers actions to thought, deeds to words. This can give the impression than he's dumber than he actually is. In generally, he tries to live life to the fullest.
Powers
Girard's only power, per say, is higher than average magic resistance. Other than that he's a normal human, even if he is a skilled combatant.

Some definite Sue-like tenancies here. A little polishing might be in order to put original fiction and RPG characters back into the balance, especially if Kirking is involved. Fanfiction characters should probably have some work done.
