FortMax (Real Life)

FortMax is a student at the University of Texas at Dallas (which is in Richardson, TX), and is a 2005 graduate of Coppell High School in Coppell, TX. He mostly keeps to himself, and is slow to meet new people. He is also an avid (some may say rabid) Transformers fan, and has a collection that fills two books shelves and three storage drawers.

Characters

FORTRESS MAXIMUS

Fortress Maximus in full robot mode

ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT

FUNCTION: EARTH DEFENSE COMMANDER

"Prepare for war, but strive for peace."

Profile

Fortress Maximus in city mode

Valiant, courageous, powerful beyond measure, Fortress Maximus is a warrior without compare, but one whose most fervent wish is never to have to fight again. All his early life, Fortress Maximus trained as an architect, becoming the creator of many of Cybertron's proudest monuments. With his ability to transform into vast construction bases, many of his creations were crafted by his own hand. So Fortress Maximus learned to build, not destroy. When war came, he did not hesitate to turn his gifts to the ways of combat, adapting one construction base into a repair bay, the other into a battle station. But as the war spread and he saw his constructions tumble and wall with countless lives lost in the process, he began to see how pointless and counter-productive battle was. He began to fight with only one aim in mind - to bring an end to the senseless conflict. He would fight, but only out of necessity, only to save other lives. Drawing inspiration from Optimus Prime, Fortress Maximus carried on his noble work after Rodimus Prime left on a quest to find the Autobots a new home planet, assuming Prime's mantle of Autobot leader.

However, none of this explains why he stays in Carrot..? instead of leading the Autobots. Some suspect that he got tired of dealing with multiple Galvatrons, conflicting character origins, plot holes (which are not beleived to be caused by a certin Professor), and transforming cannibalistic planets. The fact that he finds carrot..?'s randomness relaxing is a testement to how big a mess the Transformer's home dimentions are.

Abilities

Fortress Maximus in Battleship mode with Cerebros and Cog

In both robot and battleship mode, Fortress Maximus is a walking armory. Retractable pulse cannons (emitting a strong ion beam capable of disrupting and incapacitating internal circuits), twin automatic machine gun batteries (wrist mounted in robot mode), twin laser-guided mortars (in lower legs, robot mode), dual laser blasters (with a heat-seeking target lock system), a fusion-powered photon rifle and his Master Sword make his firepower second to none. Like all Transformers, he has a pocket of subspace that he uses to store tools, a Game Boy, and a huge stash of Energon

His battleship is fully equipped with communication, detection and radar equipment, while his repair bay has extensive re-fit facilities for almost any Transformer and a wide range of spare parts. From either city or battleship Fortress Maximus can operate two remote controlled vehicles, Gasket and Grommet, using them to supply instant battleground first aid/repairs or as offensive/defensive combat units. When in robot mode, Gasket and Grommet combine to form the radio controlled warrior/mechanic, Cog.

Fortress Maximus's head transforms into a robot form called Cerebros, who's head in turn transforms into a human-sized robot named Fortress. In addition to forming the head of Fortress Maximus, Cerebros can become the Battleship's communications tower, and is armed with a sword and a mini-laser rifle. Despite his size, Fortress Maximus is both very strong and very fast. Though seemingly awkward, his bulky configuration moves with well oiled ease. His greatest asset, though, is his vast intellect and capacity for instant tactical decisions. To him, crafting an attack is like blueprinting a structure and it's almost second nature.

Weaknesses

The many parts of Fortress Maximus, each requiring a portion of his concentration, sometimes leave the whole vulnerable to attack. When guiding Gasket and Grommet through a battlefield, he relies almost totally on automated defense systems to safeguard him from attack. If incapacitated in robot mode, Fortress Maximus has no choice but to utilize his second robot form, the much smaller and infinitely more vulnerable Cog. Cerebros's lack of a vehicular mode can be a hinderence. Beyond these slight problems, Fortress Maximus has no known weaknesses.

RUMBLE

ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: DEMOLITIONS

"Destroy what's below and what's above will follow."

Profile

Rumble is your basic street punk. He compensates for his small size by always acting tough. And he is tough. Cross him and he'll punch your optic sensors out. He has a quick temper and a mean disposition. The other Decepticons try to keep their distance. Yet, this unpleasant, swaggering little hoodlum is one of Megatron's favorites. Rumble follows orders blindly and hungrily; he always waits impatiently for Megatron's next assignment. A good time for Rumble is shaking a building into a heap of rubble. "I love the sight of crumbling bricks," he says.

Frenzy (or Rumble)
Rumble (or Frenzy)

Abilities

Rumble can roll the drum-like constructions in his body to transmit through his feet intense low-frequency groundwaves that have the effect of stimulating earthquakes. His quakes have registered as high as 5.4 on the Richter Scale.

Weaknesses

Rumble's small size severely limits his strength; he can be easily beaten by most of the Autobots in any sort of physical struggle or artillery barrage. Given his power of causing the ground to shatter, however, the trick is to get close enough to Rumble to fight him.

FRENZY

ALLEGIANCE: DECEPTICON FUNCTION: WARRIOR

"Sow panic and surrender will bloom!"

Profile

With a fervor bordering on insanity, Frenzy plunges into conflict holding back not one molecule of his mechanical being. If it were necessary for him to breathe, war would be his oxygen. His lust for destruction knows no cause, no purpose - it only craves the fear it instills in others, the destruction it leaves in its wake. The other Decepticons appreciate Frenzy's boldness and enthusiasm - often this is enough to turn them from beating a hasty retreat to launching a new offensive. But given his single-minded devotion to violence, even they find him hard to deal with on a personal level. They have no problem letting him lead the way into battle.

Abilities

His screaming voice and belligerent manner alone could shake up an opponent, but Frenzy can enhance this effect by spinning the drum-like devices in his torso. Rolling the drums against each other produces a high-pitched, grating sound of up to 200 decibels which can severely disrupt the electrical flow within the circuits of anyone within earshot, resulting in all sorts of mechanical malfunctions. He's particularly adept at disorienting his opponents by neutralizing their auditory and balance centers.

Weaknesses

Like his brother Rumble, Frenzy's small stature limits his physical strength, but his abilities make him difficult to get near. A very cool, logical reaction to his manic onslaught is often an effective way of countering his intimidating effect.
