= Plot Synopsis =

A meddlesome time traveler has accidentally altered Equestria's Past. The greatest evil of a forgotten age was allowed to escape from certain defeat at the hooves of Ancient Equestria's greatest heroes, the Elements of Harmony, and into the present. Now it is up to you the new generation of elements to defeat the forces of Discord, to restore order to the lands, and to set right the very course of history itself.

= The Story at Length =

We join Dr. Whoof and his plucky young assistant, Derpy Hooves, in the TARDIS en route to another Adventure. Dr. Whoof is busy piloting his craft as Derpy asks, "Where are we going this time Doctor?"

"Ever heard of the Elements of Harmony, Derpy?" He asks her without looking away from his flashing console.

"No, what are they?" she asks playing along. Derpy knows he would tell her about them even if she did.

"Not what my dear assistant, who. Who were they," the Doctor corrects Derpy as he throws a lever and the TARDIS jerks hard to the left. He pulls a square knob to his right on
the control panel and its flight stabilizes once more. "Answer, ancient warriors who fought one of Equestria's most perilous and important historical battles prevailed."
Derpy rolls her eyes in typical derp fashion. She knows where this conversation is heading, but continues to play along, "and who, pray-tell, were they fighting against?"

"The darkest of evils, princess Celestia's sister," he says as dramatically as possible.

"What? You mean princess Luna? I'd hardly call her evil doctor," Derpy says mildly bemused at the very idea, "a bit of an attention seeker, but evil?"

"Right, well, you say that now, but back then she was known as Nightmare Moon (NMM), bringer of the endless night."

"No," Derpy feigns shock, "you don't say."

"Oh yes, it was only through her defeat at the hooves of the six brave elementals and the power of their friendship that she was able to renounce her naughty ways thus becoming
the Luna you know and love today."
Derpy thinks on that for about two seconds then says, "this is all very nice and that's a fascinating story Doctor, but does it have a point?"

"Does it have a point!" the Doctor guffaws in ridicule, "Does it have a point she asks me. My dear, I thought you wanted to know where we are going."
Derpy's head reels as the puzzle pieces come together in her mind, "But Doctor, surely we aren't going to some stuffy old battle field." He gives her a look that say this is
exactly what he means. Feeling a bit drained and defeated, she asks once more, "are you absolutely sure it is a good idea to enter a battlefield during a war like this?"

"Oh come now Derpy," he says, his hoof resting on the rematerialization button, "we'll just observe from a distance." Dr. Whoof presses the button and his TARDIS rematerializes.

Meanwhile, at the ruins of the castle of the ancient a battle rages on. "You see NMM, when those elements are ignited by the spark that resides in the heart of us all it
creates the sixth element, the element, of Magic!" As Twilight Sparkle (TS) recites these words, magic necklaces form on each of the elemental ponies. Their powers shoot forth from the foci attached to their necklaces and combine around TS causing her to transform into the overly buff and muscular Captain Pony as she bursts through the roof saying "by your powers combined I am Captain Pony!"

"Go Pony!" a cry calls out from her group of friends. Later, no pony would admit to being the one who cheered this cheer.

Anyways, captain pony summons forth the total power of the Elements of Harmony to form a gigantic rainbow all the way across the sky. "Looks like you need a time out princess," TS says as she redirects the ultimate rainbow of power towards NMM, "another thousand years of banishment ought to be plenty of time to cool your heels." Just as the rainbow is about to strike Luna a blue policebox materializes directly in it's path. The door opens and out steps Doctor Whoof.

"We'll just observe from a distance," he can beheard saying as the doors of his TARDIS open, "It's perfectly safe out HERE-AAH."
With his last words spoken, Captain Pony's rainbow of power wraps itself around him and banishes him to the moon for 1000 years. Without his TARDIS to aid in his escape.

"DOCTOR!"

Derpy shouts in horror as the Doctor vaporizes right before her derpy eyes. She rushes outside and the scene looks even worse. Captain Pony has used up all her energy and the other elementals are now down for the count. A realatively unscathed NMM steps forward and stares Derpy down. The intimidated and bereaved assistant puts up no resistance as NMM brushes her aside and steps into the TARDIS closing the door behind her and laughing manically. Red light pours out of the windows and TARDIS door cracks. The engines whir to life and the sound of the universe appears to be laughing sinisterly along with NMM. And with that she vanishes into the mists of time. Who knows where or when she'll pop up next.

Mach Dasher has a massive ego, and is incredibly impatient. He's very hyperactive and constantly in motion. He has mild kleptomania, occasionally stealing things that don't belong to him. Despite eating a lot, he's quite lean and muscular, presumably because of his constant motion.

During the zompony apocalypse, he earned the ire of most of the other ponies by repeatedly using them as bait. As such he's somewhat unpopular right now, and has no idea why. He's not a BAD person, it's just that during the crisis his negative characteristics came to the forefront.

A meddlesome time traveler has accidentally altered Equestria's Past. The greatest evil of a forgotten age was allowed to escape from certain defeat at the hooves of Ancient Equestria's greatest heroes, the Elements of Harmony, and into the present. Now it is up to you the new generation of elements to defeat the forces of Discord, to restore order to the lands, and to set right the very course of history itself.

= The Story at Length =

We join Dr. Whoof and his plucky young assistant, Derpy Hooves, in the TARDIS en route to another Adventure. Dr. Whoof is busy piloting his craft as Derpy asks, "Where are we going this time Doctor?"

"Ever heard of the Elements of Harmony, Derpy?" He asks her without looking away from his flashing console.

"No, what are they?" she asks playing along. Derpy knows he would tell her about them even if she did.

"Not what my dear assistant, who. Who were they," the Doctor corrects Derpy as he throws a lever and the TARDIS jerks hard to the left. He pulls a square knob to his right on
the control panel and its flight stabilizes once more. "Answer, ancient warriors who fought one of Equestria's most perilous and important historical battles prevailed."
Derpy rolls her eyes in typical derp fashion. She knows where this conversation is heading, but continues to play along, "and who, pray-tell, were they fighting against?"

"The darkest of evils, princess Celestia's sister," he says as dramatically as possible.

"What? You mean princess Luna? I'd hardly call her evil doctor," Derpy says mildly bemused at the very idea, "a bit of an attention seeker, but evil?"

"Right, well, you say that now, but back then she was known as Nightmare Moon (NMM), bringer of the endless night."

"No," Derpy feigns shock, "you don't say."

"Oh yes, it was only through her defeat at the hooves of the six brave elementals and the power of their friendship that she was able to renounce her naughty ways thus becoming
the Luna you know and love today."
Derpy thinks on that for about two seconds then says, "this is all very nice and that's a fascinating story Doctor, but does it have a point?"

"Does it have a point!" the Doctor guffaws in ridicule, "Does it have a point she asks me. My dear, I thought you wanted to know where we are going."
Derpy's head reels as the puzzle pieces come together in her mind, "But Doctor, surely we aren't going to some stuffy old battle field." He gives her a look that say this is
exactly what he means. Feeling a bit drained and defeated, she asks once more, "are you absolutely sure it is a good idea to enter a battlefield during a war like this?"

"Oh come now Derpy," he says, his hoof resting on the rematerialization button, "we'll just observe from a distance." Dr. Whoof presses the button and his TARDIS rematerializes.

Meanwhile, at the ruins of the castle of the ancient a battle rages on. "You see NMM, when those elements are ignited by the spark that resides in the heart of us all it
creates the sixth element, the element, of Magic!" As Twilight Sparkle (TS) recites these words, magic necklaces form on each of the elemental ponies. Their powers shoot forth from the foci attached to their necklaces and combine around TS causing her to transform into the overly buff and muscular Captain Pony as she bursts through the roof saying "by your powers combined I am Captain Pony!"

"Go Pony!" a cry calls out from her group of friends. Later, no pony would admit to being the one who cheered this cheer.

Anyways, captain pony summons forth the total power of the Elements of Harmony to form a gigantic rainbow all the way across the sky. "Looks like you need a time out princess," TS says as she redirects the ultimate rainbow of power towards NMM, "another thousand years of banishment ought to be plenty of time to cool your heels." Just as the rainbow is about to strike Luna a blue policebox materializes directly in it's path. The door opens and out steps Doctor Whoof.

"We'll just observe from a distance," he can beheard saying as the doors of his TARDIS open, "It's perfectly safe out HERE-AAH."
With his last words spoken, Captain Pony's rainbow of power wraps itself around him and banishes him to the moon for 1000 years. Without his TARDIS to aid in his escape.

"DOCTOR!"

Derpy shouts in horror as the Doctor vaporizes right before her derpy eyes. She rushes outside and the scene looks even worse. Captain Pony has used up all her energy and the other elementals are now down for the count. A realatively unscathed NMM steps forward and stares Derpy down. The intimidated and bereaved assistant puts up no resistance as NMM brushes her aside and steps into the TARDIS closing the door behind her and laughing manically. Red light pours out of the windows and TARDIS door cracks. The engines whir to life and the sound of the universe appears to be laughing sinisterly along with NMM. And with that she vanishes into the mists of time. Who knows where or when she'll pop up next.

Mach Dasher has a massive ego, and is incredibly impatient. He's very hyperactive and constantly in motion. He has mild kleptomania, occasionally stealing things that don't belong to him. Despite eating a lot, he's quite lean and muscular, presumably because of his constant motion.

During the zompony apocalypse, he earned the ire of most of the other ponies by repeatedly using them as bait. As such he's somewhat unpopular right now, and has no idea why. He's not a BAD person, it's just that during the crisis his negative characteristics came to the forefront.

Marissa was the last in her class to get her cutie mark, and she got it unusually late. As a result, she was teased by her peers or else assumed to be a filly who got advanced a few grades, and was socially ostracized. As a result she isn't very used to having friends, and is a bit socially awkward at times. She often comes off as terse or mean because of it, when in actuality she just isn't very used to dealing with people.

== The Setting ==
This universe is one of the many in the scape of [[War!|the war thread]], save one difference.

In ''this'' universe, the war between Svensylsquatostan and Gal-Zabor was nothing more than a verbal dispute that was resolved within hours.

Mr.Big never appeared. The [[Catkin|Cat-Kin]] never massed.

On good terms with Svensylsquatostan, Gal-Zabor began exploring the terrain on the opposite side that bordered their land; the wastes of the Great Fall.
They explored the nooks and crannies diligently, finding buried treasures, mutants, and magical beings formed from the unstable magic, although nothing to Kraggi's interest, until they stumbled into a small area of land near what were once the Rocky Mountains.
Under the protection of one of the last remaining mountains, a small patch of land remained unblemished by the Great Fall's corrupting touch.
A large prairie, along with a small lake and forest, remained vibrant and healthy.

A speck of nature in an otherwise unnatural desert, Kraggi deemed the land be named 'the speck of mold on the potato', to which Ann promptly changed the name to 'Mossy Knoll', based off the initials of a figure she knew from a series of pleasant dreams.
Kraggi immediately lost interest in it, while Ann saw it as the perfect isolated vacation spot.

The small location was quickly leaked to the public, and soon people sharing Ann's vision started asking to be brought there.
Ann quickly had a large group of zombies to construct a town center in the grassy plain so that a small village could be maintained there, and thus, Mossy Knoll was born.

'''Background info:''' Sapphire, after getting back from Mossy Knoll, believed the whole thing to have been a dream, albeit a very vivid one. This was cemented by the fact that her memories of life before coming to Mossy Knoll in the dream were different from her actual memories. She continued to live her life as a Final Fantasy-esque innkeeper, until one day she met a young Black Mage named Milla SinClaire. Milla claimed to be the embodiment of something called 'the call'; Sapphire was destined to go on an epic adventure, accompanied by Milla and her twin brother Bishop. Sapphire ignored the crazy person. Unfortunately for Sapphire, the call knows where you live. I think you know where this is going.

Yeah. there were explosions, and Saph was dragged into an Adventure, kicking and screaming all the way in a very Bilbo Baggins-esque manner. Over the course of her adventure, she met a mysterious swordsman named Gilgamesh who for some reason took a liking to her to the point that he became a super badass whenever she was threatened. She confronted an assassin trio who for some reason were out for her blood. She discovered that her innate water manipulation talent came form genetic manipulation, specifically when one of the other Five results of the same experiment went insane and was killed by her world's Big Bad.

Eventually, she discovered the following; the scientists who had made her had accidentally created the perfect avatars for a set of Ancient Elder God types. After emerging barely victorious in a mental battle with her universe's equivalent of Azathoth (with the help of Bishop, Milla, and Gilgamesh), Sapphire discovered that she had lost most of her godlike abilities, but on the plus side she was secure in her sanity and not doomed to a rather depressing fate.

Then she made the mistake of letting Gilgamesh navigate, and ended up back here again.

'''Notable abilities:''' Milla is a competent Black Mage, though her forte is in theory as opposed to practical magic. Speaking of, terminology lesson time; on Gaia, magic is defined not by what it can do, but where it comes from. Black Magic is drawn from the 'lifestream' of the world around us. As such, it tends to be slightly more versatile, especially in situations that take the caster far from his or her native dimension. Milla has a handful of tricks she's really good at, and the rest that she really isn't. That didn't stop her from being a major asset in the battle against Sapphire's dark side; it doesn't pay to underestimate Milla's intelligence. Especially considering she has the claim to fame of having thought circles around her universe's equivalent of Azathoth. Not as impressive as Sapphire's ability to say she has punched Azathoth in the face, mind you, but still.

Milla also has the advantage of being incredibly genre savvy. This has saved her hind quarters on numerous occasions. She also seems to be aware of the fact that she's a fictional character, and often casually breaks the fourth wall without noticing. People look at her like she's a loony when this occurs.

However, it became apparent that she needed at least three years of Field Experience before she could officially get her Doctorate. So she hijacked her twin brother, Bishop, and went off to see the world. Upon encountering Sapphire, it took one look to determine that she was Special; she had Blue fur, for cryin' out loud. Milla came to the natural conclusion that obviously this was a sign that the three (Saph, Milla, and Bishop, if that wasn't clear) were destined to go on an epic quest to save the world. Or something. This strange notion was further cemented in her mind when, after Saph refused, the future Big Bad of the other major plotline showed up to lay waste to Saph's hometown. Yeah. Awkward. It was then that Milla determined that she was gonna grab hold of Saph and not let go.

This, naturally, annoyed Saph, who was as mentioned before dragged kicking and screaming by Milla into a whirlwind of ADVENTURE! For the longest time, Mill was the de-facto leader until Sapphire warmed up to the idea of adventuring, after having defeated an elder god by punching her in the face and giving a World Of Cardboard speech. Milla gladly let Saph take over as the group's leader, since Milla is not the best of leaders.

But at least she was never stupid enough to let Gilgamesh lead.

At the most, she'll wear a bra to keep the Tedds away, and she doesn't care about what she has on her legs. However, she prefers pants, as skirts get in the way majorly. She is very lightweight, and fairly curvy.

==Personality==

Quiet, introspective, and just a wee bit antisocial. Diamond is very type A. She likes to be in charge, and doesn't like taking orders (though she will do so willingly). She is also one of the least modest people ever when it comes to her body.

Also, she is evil and manipulative. She will do almost anything to get what she wants, up to and including murder. She tends to be subtle about it, but is willing to go to any lengths. She is almost never truly sincere, instead saying what needs to be said to get people to do what she wants them to in order to achieve her selfish goals.

She is also mortally terrified of the notion of her own mortality. Everything she does is geared toward her own survival, and possibly attaining immortality.

Her eyes are also blue. And her name is Sapphire. Anyone sensing a pattern here?

Sapphire is vrey, very, ''very'' insecure. She is also equally shy. For the most part, she lets her older brother (who is sadly still in her home dimension) do the talking. She suffers from mild xenophobia, and really dislikes being trapped in an alternate dimension, where interaction is forced upon her.

Name- Bellflower Acacia.
Race- 75% Light Fae, 25% Fire Fae
Gender- Female.
Age- 1840
Height- 5"4'
Hair- Long and red.
Eyes- Green.
Clothing- Flowing, brightly coloured shirt (very tie-dye). Has several large, golden hoop earrings. Wears thin, flowing pants that go with her shirt. All in all, doesn't show much skin.
Bio-Her parents were both Light Fae, but her grandfather on her mother's side was a Fire Fae. While she is as peace loving as her fellow Wild Light Fae, she is a competent and agile fighter and knows how to defend herself. She is a very bubbly person (not quite 'Grace' bubbly, but still pretty bubbly), and loves to have fun. However, she is not very fond of the current Fae ruling class, and will probably join the group once she learns exactly what's going on.
Weapons- Bellflower is a competent and skilled fighter, and carries her Fire Fae grandfather's old short swords, Pain and Panic, which she uses to protect her village from outside threats such as Dark Fae.
Magic- None whatsoever. She has never tried to use magic, and doesn't consider it 'sporting'.

Cypress Acacia

Clothing- A similar outfit to Bellflower, except bigger and darker colours.
Bio- Conceited pretty-boy. Unlike Bellflower, his younger sister, Cypress is a big, selfish, perverted, egotistical jerk. None of his Fire Fae blood shows through, and he doesn't share near the amount of idolization that Bellflower holds for her grandfather. He does have one good point (unlike Nikolai); he is incredibly protective of his younger sibling. He joins hoping to meet chicks, and to protect Bellflower.
Weapons- "Weapons? You mean those sharp pointy things? Like I'll need them. I'm too beautiful for anyone to even consider fighting me."
Magic- "Well, I've got to keep myself pretty somehow." Nothing big. Just enough to deal with minor surface wounds without leaving a scar. He could actually be much better, and has in fact shown that he is quite proficient as a healer.

There is an organization in Mayhem. A somewhat large yet undiscovered organization. One branch of this organization has the job of monitoring RPs, watching the activity, and noting when they die. One of the executives in this branch has the job title "Death of Mayhem". 
Another executive in this branch, job title "Eyes of Mayhem", is the chief in the monitoring department, and also has good critical and tactical thinking skills. Seeing all the RPs which perished over the years, he began to consider useful things they contained and how he might utilize them. 
His conclusion was this: Make a team of characters from the dead RPs and have them obtain the items for the organization. 
He told the idea to his superiors, who approved and subsequently put him in charge of the project. But this left him in a quandary, for while he had good critical and tactical thinking, his public speaking skills were rather on the other end of the scale. So he went to his colleague and friend, "Death of Mayhem", and asked if he might be his liaison. An arrangement was promptly made.

==The Basics of the Basics==

Name- Bob. Just Bob.
Age- 25.
Height- 5'6"
Weight- A suffusion of yellow.

==Appearance==

Bob wears flowing, sky-blue robes, and a wide brimmed tan coloured hat. His face is shrouded in magical shadow, except for his eyes, which are gold and have a slight glow... That's about it. No one really knows what he looks like under the robes, hat, and shadows, and he isn't telling.

==Personality==

Bob is, to put it mildly, a pervert. A real jerk of a pervert. He seems to actively try to anger women at times. Otherwise, he's fun loving and laid back. He hates fighting, and will only do so if someone else starts it or he deems it funny. Likewise, he'll only use his magic when needed or humorous.

==Abilities==

Bob can use a wide variety of magic. Mostly he uses offense based magic, though he knows enough defencive magic to get by. He also is trained in the use of mage sight, which has many applications. This includes seeing through illusions, and seeing through clothing.

==History==

Unknown. Apparently he's researching unbreakable curses, though he has yet to say why. Also, Bob is definitely not his real name.

Name- Wolfie (no relation to the 'Wotch' character).
Age- 24.
Height- 5'11"
Weight- Don't ask. It may result in Maulingness.

==Appearance==

A bit taller than average. She has slightly-longer-than shoulder length black hair. She wears a loose fitting green T-shirt, and grey sweatpants. Oh, and did I mention she's an anthropomorphic wolfgirl? 'Cause she is. She has dark grey fur, and stuff like that. You get the picture. Her eyes are green.

==Personality==

Wolfie is happy. That is the only way to describe her. She's like a big, anthro puppy. She loves sugar, especially in cookie form. Give her a cookie and she'll love you forever. Make a Lassie joke and she'll maul you. Also, on a related note, she only speaks canine. No English whatsoever. Hence the sensitivity when it comes to Lassie jokes. She's still a nice person, though; she'll at least attempt to warn you when you push her patience. But be careful, as she has no qualms about biting if you piss her off enough.

==Abilities==

She's much, much stronger than she looks. She has really sharp pointy teeth, and really sharp pointy claws. That's pretty much it, but she doesn't need much more. She's a friggin wolf, what more do you want? Also, can speak with dogs.

==History==

As of yet unknown. Apparently, she has a curse (which explains the whole wolf thing). And it is apparently unbreakable, or very hard to break. She has come to the inn to get away from stress, and an as-of-yet unnamed ex-boyfriend.
