Short for Monday Anticipation Syndrome. This is the primary symptom of [[El Goonish Shive|EGS]] withdrawal in a [[Bunny]] over a period of 48 hours or more. Telltale signs of the syndrome include:

*Wild speculation.
*Attempts to accelerate the flow of time.
*Frequent refreshing of the main page as midnight approaches.
*Failure to register real world responsibilities.
*Languishing in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time.
*Excitement or other disproportionate emotion upon the update's arrival.
*Sadness or similar extreme emotion if update is delayed.

There is no treatment for MAS other than new El Goonish Shive comics, which simply waylay the affliction until the next weekend.
