Harry drifts off to sleep.

From Create Your Own Story

Harry spent the next two days doing homework, cooking for the Dursleys, and weeding the yard. While out in the yard, every once in a while, he would catch glimpses out of the corner of his eye some sort of movement across the street. He knew it was an Order member watching him. He often wondered who it was. Was it the flirty metamorph, Nymphadora “She-Who-Will-Not-Have-Her-First-Name-Spoken” Tonks? Or the lazy, drunkard Mundungas Fletcher? Perhaps it was Moony, Remes Lupin, Harry's last remaining close connection to his parents. Or some nameless, faceless Order member whom Harry hadn't met yet.

Friday came quicker than Harry expected, and Dumbledore had arrived. Apparently in his excitement that he would be leaving early, Harry neglected to inform the Dursleys' of Dumbledore arrival. Dumbledore ignored their contempt and made at home. Harry noticed Dumbledore's blackened hand, and made a mental note to push the issue with him later.

After Dumbledore's uncomfortable inheritance test, Harry sent Kreacher to work at Hogwarts, and left Buckbeak/Witherwings to Hagrid's care. Before Dumbledore took Harry away, he admonished the Dursleys for their bad manners, mistreatment of Harry, and over-indulgence of Dudley.

Before arriving at the Burrow, Dumbledore took Harry on a little side trip. They went to a small village called Budleigh Babberton to recruit a new professor. Horace Slughorn, Dumbledore's old colleague and a former Hogwarts Potions professor, was needed to fill a recurring open position. Slughorn initially refused. Dumbledore then mysteriously excused himself, leaving Harry and Slughorn alone together. Slughorn went on to say that he had taught Harry's parents, and that his mother, Lily, was one of his favorite students.

After their conversation, Dumbledore convinced Slughorn to resume his old post. Slughorn agreed because Hogwarts would be the safest place to be, and would be interested in bringing Harry into his "Slug Club". Dumbledore then apparated them to The Burrow, and, before leaving, told Harry that he would be having special, private lessons with him during the year.

When Harry went inside, he was met by Mrs. Weasley and Tonks, whose normally vibrant pink hair was nowhere to be seen, replaced now by mousy grey. "I wonder if she's blaming herself for Sirius' death. (Sigh) It's not your fault Tonks. It's mine"

After Tonks left, Mrs. Weasley noticed how tired Harry appeared, so she sent him to Fred and George's old room to sleep. Harry said good night to everyone, and went upstairs. Finding the twin's room, he cautiously opened the door, half expecting it to be booby-trapped. He waited a few seconds, and after nothing seemed to of happened, he went inside. However, before he went to bed, his mind wondered to Tonks. He looked out his window, and what he presumed to be Tonks' shadowy figure walking toward the ward line. "Who knows when I might get a chance to talk to her without anyone else around. She needs to know what happened. It's not fair to her to think it's her fault. (Sigh) But I'm really tired. What should I do?"
