Pool Party/Talk to Mary

You approach Mary and Jim and inject yourself in the conversation. They're talking about Jim's play when he ran a touchdown in himself after his runners opened up the defense. Mary had led the following cheer, and the two of them are talking and laughing at the memory of that great moment. Jim has his hand on Mary's arm, and she's inching towards him slowly as they talk.
You laugh and agree on how awesome that play was, then bring up another, where Jim had thrown you a 42 yard pass resulting in you running in a touchdown. You praise Jim's arm and accuracy while subtly pointing out the importance of your running skills. You remind Mary of the cheer her squad had led following the play, and she laughs and focuses her attention on you for the moment as she describes the particular technique they had trained in for that cheer. You praise her skill as an acrobat, moving closer to her and putting your arm around her shoulder.
Jim tries to return the conversation back to the other play, but he's too late and you have Mary's attention for now. After a few more minutes of conversation, Mary's got her arm around your abdomen and you're ready to make your move.
