You grit your teeth and brace for impact, still squeezing the trigger. Laser fire blasts back and forth between your ship and the gunship. You do your best to stay out of the line of fire, but you can't dodge all of it! An unlucky blast sears through the cockpit glass and atomizes your head and upper torso in a flash of searing light. Your ship careens into the gunship, and both vessels go up in a ball of fire.
