Jump out a window
From Create Your Own Story
You run to the window and dive through it, only to remember that this isn't your two-story apartment building. You fall four stories before you hit the grass and immediately everything goes black.
You slowly open your eyes only to be blinded by the lights over your head. You look around and see that you have been taken to a hospital and that both your legs are in casts and so is your left arm.
"It's good to see that you're up. We were starting to worry about you."
You look towards the source of the voice and you see a black panther standing next to your bed in a pair of green scrubs, meaning he is probably your doctor.
"How long was I out?" you ask.
"Almost five days. You have several broken bones and your body is bruised severely. Now, if you don't mind me asking; Why did you try to kill yourself?" the doctor asks.
"Oh, I didn't try to kill myself I was.... Actually, yeah I was trying to kill myself. I guess the depression just became too much for me," you say. You figure it's better for him to think you tried to kill yourself rather than escaping the clutches of a 10-year-old rapist.
"Well, life can get bad sometimes, but you have to try and find the happy things to get through it," the doctor says. He continues to lecture you about how life is precious and you should never give it up. After a while he leaves to tend to other patients and you're left alone. You look around your bed and see the remote for the TV, that button thing that calls the nurse and all the machinery that they hooked up to your body. Also there is that bedpan under you so you can go without having to get up.
