Go and meet the guards

You continue driving until you come upon the guards' black Humvee. As two men in black combat fatigues approach the car on both sides, you open the car window.
"This is a private compound, ma'am. Get back in your car and leave before we have you arrested."
"I don't think so," you reply.
"Excuse me, ma'am?" the guard says in shock as he slowly draws his gun.
You've palmed your pepper spray in hand and, moving quickly, you spray the face of the guard at your window. You slam the driver's side door into the blinded guard and throw yourself out as his partner takes a shot at you. In the chaos, he's put a round into Maria's arm instead. You grab the blinded guard's gun and spin around behind him, using him as a shield before the other guard gets off another shot.
"You, take off your uniform," you command the second, smaller guard. You get the two guards cuffed together, then dress in the uniform.
"What the hell's going on, Kaya?" your confused, terrified friends ask.
"Yulia, Amber, get in the truck and stay down," you instruct them.
"Really, we should go. We need to get Maria to a hospital."
You point the gun at Yulia's head. "Let's go. Leave Maria here."
You drive the guards' Humvee up the hill to the research facility. Using the guards' identification cards, you swipe your way into the building. It's Friday night and only a minimal staffing is present.
