The sounds of drunken laughter and thumping music greet Alice upon her arrival. From what she can see of the crowd gathered around the entrance to the party, she's come to one of THE places to be tonight. Alice smiles, excited by the prospect of rushing, hoping to forge friendships that would shape the rest of her college life.
As she walks to the front door, she can't help but eye off a group of probably freshman guys standing about on the porch, trying to get in. One turns and interrupts her ogling, tall, with brown hair and striking blue eyes. She knows she has to look like a deer caught in headlights, but the guy smiles, an easy smile, as he continues staring directly into her eyes. Alice allows herself one flirtatious smile before turning away. This pledging business could turn out to be a lot of fun if she played her cards right.
