You shoot Jack Sparrow, who flies backwards and smashes into a pillar. He is still alive, however.
His entire crew, including Gibbs, all draw thier swords and attack you for shooting their captain.
You are overwhelmed by their numbers and die.
And you didn't even manage to kill Sparrow.
