You enter the dark forest. It's dark. And a little woody. You hear a howling sound coming from a clearing. Slowly, you creep toward the sounds and spy through the bushes a pack of large wolves, howling in the night and joining a feast. They're larger than normal wolves, and they walk upright. One of them spots you and flashes its blue eyes. You meet its stare. After a short while, the wolf stands and begins to shift into a white-haired old man with a stocky build. The naked man approaches you and says, "Fear not traveler. We are the People of the Wood. If you mean us no harm, you pass this way. But if you challenge us, we shall send your soul to the Pits of the Dead."
