Tell Gabrielle you'll be holding a special study session at your place for "all the students" who started late

"But Professor!" Gabrielle says. "I am the only student who has started late."

"Then you don't want to be the only one left behind," you say. "You are concerned about every other student in the course being ahead of you... aren't you?"

"Of course I'm concerned," she says.

"Then you'll meet me at my place and we'll get you up to speed," you say.

You hand her a card with your address. Gabrielle looks nervous, but she takes the card.

That evening, she shows up at your house. You smile broadly as you usher her inside. She's here, but she's clearly not comfortable... yet.
