"Ask me your question," you reply.

"It is a simple matter." She holds up two strands, at the end of the belt she was weaving. They have diverged just at the moment she ceased her work. "It is about you. When the time comes to risk yourself for another, for no gain of your own, which would you rather choose? The way of danger? Or the way of the coward? I have looked... but I cannot decide."

"I don't understand the question," you tell her.

"That is not important," she says. "Answer from your heart. Would you survive a coward? Or live in danger? Either will work," and she runs the belt between her fingers as she says this. "But only one will suit."

She waits for you to speak.
