You have been a ghost for longer than you can remember, and have had the misfortune of having to haunt the same house for what seams like and eternity. Your only sense of pleasure comes when someone lives there for you to play with. Currently, that is not the case.
As a ghost, you can possess people and make them do whatever you wish. When you possess someone, you can feel everything as if you are human again. You can also influence multiple people to do things they would not otherwise do. This has brought a lot of fun for you, and a lot of misfortune to those that have had the misfortune to live in your house.
You hear a car door close that is parked in the driveway and look out the window. You have no fear of being seen, since you are invisible. Your loneliness is about to come to and end, temporarily, as you see a new family has decided to move in.
