From Create Your Own Story
You are Jane Doe, a teenage girl with a talent for drawing and painting. Today, you wake up to find a paintbrush on your bedside table. It has a round brush, a dark hazel wood handle intricately carved with strange letters you don't recognize. In fact, you don't recognize anything about it as you've never seen this paintbrush before.
With a shake of your head, you stand up and go through your morning routine as usual; changing into a set of comfortable clothes, brushing your long brown hair, brushing your teeth, and finally going downstairs to fix yourself breakfast.
For a second, you're confused when you don't see your parents until you remember they will be gone this whole week. They work for the same company a business that...well, now that you think about it, you don't really know what they do. All you know is that your parents often go on long work trips and that the company is named MagiCorp.
Again shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you smile as you realize that even though today is Monday, you don't have school this week! No school and no parents for this week means you can do basically whatever you want.
After finishing up breakfast, your thoughts turn once more to the mysterious paintbrush that appeared on your table this morning. Inspecting it closer, you can see that it's truly well made and feel a sudden spark of inspiration.
You decide to paint...
- A landscape; a beach at sunset, a ship-wrecked sailor lying in the sand.
- A portrait; a princess in a tower, gazing up at the night sky.
- A scene; children having a snowball fight, their faces red and smiling.
Note: This is the first CYOA I've ever written! I'm writing this as a sort of writing exercise, but I hope you enjoy it! I'm working on option 1 first (the beach) but if anyone wants me to focus on a different path I'd be happy to do that! XoXo User:Moosicorns
