As an officer walks past tapping his white cane on the floor, you snag his keys and unlock the cell doors. Still nursing a headache, you walk out of the police station, lumber down the street, get confused, turn around, walk back up the street you came from and into the police station, use the keys to steal a patrol car and drive all the way back home nearly avoiding nineteen streetlights.
Jumping out of the vehicle, that you had just ploughed into your mailbox with, your parents look at you from the door in horror. “Honey.” Your father gasped in disbelief. “You brought back a black guy.” You turn around and notice that the cellmate of yours back in jail had followed you into the car.
