A year or so later...
The relentless assault makes me forget your role as Queen. “Mira the Gift” is what the men call you now. They fuck you on a daily basis as they conquer the rest of your kingdom. Every once in a while you hear of how they’re sacking this or that town in Joslund. Months later the names of towns are replaced with foreign words. The army must’ve moved on to conquer a different land. Joslund is gone, and its Queen, forgotten. All that is left is Mira, the favorite gift of the Berklund Berserkers.
