Katie was sweating, trying to keep her panting under control as her legs bounced up and down in nervousness. One hand had a firm grip of her long brunette hair while the other mindlessly scribbled away on the paper on the table. Katie was pretending to be drawing something with her pencil, but her eyes almost constantly glanced back up at the clock to see the time. She had been needing to go to the bathroom for almost an hour now, but she thought she could hold it until the end of class. Now as she neared the end of class, she was regretting having waited. Looking up to her art teacher, Mr. Thorn, she hoped that for once he wouldn't be strict by the book and let her go to the bathroom early.

"Mr. Thorn?" Katie asked, seeing the man look up "Can I please go to the bathroom?"

"Are you done with your drawing?" he asked her.

"Yeah..." Katie replied, lifting the drawing to show it to him.

"That's needs some polish Katie, you can leave when you are done - and only when you are done." Mr. Thorn told Katie. "In fact that goes for everyone! No one can leave until they are done with your project!"

Everyone groaned and kept on working, even when the bell rang only a few people were able to leave. Much to Katie's chagrin, she was unable to convince Mr. Thorn, attempt after attempt of pleasing him. It was hard to focus with all the pressure on her to go to the bathroom.
