You moved towards bedroom. But Janine called out to you.
"Yes?" you said coming into the living room where Janine worked on her computer.
"I just wanted say, that tomorrow I'll be late. We have shopping plans with Emma. And after shopping we are going to come here for a dinner."
"Okay."
"And I wanted to ask you to be kinder to her. She's my best friend and I want you two to finally get along together." She smiled with entreaty.
"I'll do what I can," you answered.
"Great." And she returned to her work, showing you that the conversation is over.
And you returned to your work. That wasn't the first time she asked you to be kinder to Emma and every time you answered that you'll try. But nothing changed. The truth was that you didn't hate her, quite opposite - you always felt excitement near her and try to hold yourself down to make it unnoticeable so everyone thought that you didn't like her.
Emma - was an exact opposite of your wife, maybe thats why they were friends for a long time. She was an ex-model, a trophy wife. At her 25 she was smart enough to understand that modeling career is short and when opportunity came she married rich man and protected her own future. Soon after that she met my wife and they become friends. Despite she had two kids: Samuel - 8 years old son and Tina - 6 years old daughter, she lived for her own pleasure. She was still very attractive: almost as tall as you, long legs, big breast about the same size as your wifes, green eyes and magnificent smile. Femme fatale if someone asks you. That's why you never showed how much she attracts you. She could eat you in one chew.
It was late evening when you ended your work. At this hour you have nothing left but to get to the bed.
