You grab the glowing red crystal and you immediately feel the power pulsing inside it. This has to be another treasure!
Your momentary elation is slightly deflated by the sight of the ceiling tearing away from above you. Chunks of coral vanish as the three mermaids dig you out of your hidey hole.
"Ooh, now he's found something else!" the green-tailed mermaid says.
"Let me see!" the orange-tailed mermaid says.
"Your elbow is in my eye!" the black-tailed mermaid says.
She shoves the green-tailed mermaid.
