A small park about a mile from the mall

You remember the small park about a mile from the mall. It's not been used for a while, and, as a result of that, the city has stopped maintaining it. It's an overgrown eyesore now, that no one bothers to go to, and therefore would be perfect for your, ah, extracurricular activities.
You head off down the road, your soles slapping against the rough concrete. Your tender soles notice every bump on the pavement. You notice the clerk staring down at your soles the entire way, and one of his hands is permanently in his pocket.
A half-hour later, you arrive at the park, and slip in around the closed signs. In the process, you note the new stain on the front of the clerk's pants. He definitely got off at least once on the way here.
You make your way out of sight of the road, the clerk hot on your heels.
