Random Fantasy Quest is a classic and straightforward action-fantasy adventure, set in and around Cosmopolitan City, a large, sophisticated city.
You are Gylas Dane, a human, neutral wizard. You have gray hair and dark green eyes, and are common in appearance. You wear a black robe and wield a quarterstaff and dagger. You tend to be aggressive and secretive.
Your quest begins at The Wolfs Lodge, a two-storey stone-walled inn with a slate roof. The inn is brightly lit by magical candles and chandeliers. Accomodations consist of several small rooms with beds and woolen mattresses, but you're more interested in some food. Its patron is Linaeli, an evil elf. Linaeli has gray hair and sharp brown eyes. He is brutal and vengeful. Linaeli seeks a party to clear his name against charges of heresy.
Rumor has it the bishop of the Cathedral of the Silver Sky has become possessed by a malevolent spirit.
