Pokemon: Hook up with Jasmine

Jasmine was waiting for me at the middle of town. From a distance, we could almost be sisters. The only obvious difference was my hair was blonde and hers was black. Of course, when you got closer you could tell we had different faces, not to mention the fact that she wore skimpier clothing than I did. We hugged each other in greeting. "So who'd you get, Celeste?"
"Turtwig, just like I said I would."
"Thought so. Well I got Piplup. I know that puts me at a type disadvantage but, I don't care." We went down the path that lead to Route 201, the main way to get to the next city, Sandgem Town. As we walked the short distance, we chatted about silly girl things. We were having so much fun, laughing and talking, that we barley realized when we arrived at the gate.
The gates were a relatively new thing. The authorities wanted to protect trainers from some of the wilder pokemon, so gates had been put up at the entrances to each town, and the main one was where the local police station could be found. Since Twinleaf was in a relative safe area, there was just a low wall with a small wooden gate to mark the boundary between Twinleaf Town and Route 201. The local Officer Jenny was just stepping out of her office when we walked up.
"Morring girls, what brings you out here this early?""We just became Pokemon Trainers today!"
"Yea, we're starting out on out Pokemon journey."
"Well can I see your Pokedex ID's please?" She said with a smile. We pulled them put and let her look, so she could see we were allowed to be out. "Well, everything looks in order. Have a nice journey girls!"
"We will!" We replied in unison.
