Hide in the water near that fallen tree you saw

You quietly swim to the fallen branches and hide under the water the best you can to wait them out.
You can hear them talking and then one says, "look there, someone left some clothes near that tree" One of them, a rather handsome man in his early twenties comes into view after a few minutes and takes a look over the water but doesn't notice you. You can see that he has your bra in his hand. He looks around for a couple minutes, shrugs and puts the bra in his pocket and steps out of view. Then you hear someone say "lets just take them and go, we need to get back soon"
The voices continue down the trail and you think it's safe to come out of hiding, however you dread going to where you left your clothes. When you get to the spot you left your clothes you find nothing, they are gone.
