Hey Babe,

The rain hasn't stopped. Been trying to stay busy though. Its harder than I expected to get anything done here. Don't know if I thought this would be some sort of creative Mecca for me or what. The past several days I haven't even touched the paintings. Been spending most of the time starring out the windows. It's so hazy with this damn rain I can barely even see the lake. Other then that, I've been fighting a losing battle with the leaks in this place. I swear someone must have crawled around on the roof drilling holes every few feet.

Otherwise, Im doing well. I miss you. Having some trouble sleeping. Looking forward to seeing you. Can't believe I forgot the stupid cell phone charger.

The Strait of Juan de Fuca (called Juan de Fuca Strait in Canada) is a large body of water about 95 miles long forming the principal outlet for the Georgia Strait and Puget Sound, connecting both to the Pacific Ocean. It provides part of the international boundary between the United States and Canada.

It was named in 1787 by the maritime fur trader [[Charles William Barkley]], captain of the Imperial Eagle, for Juan de Fuca, the Greek navigator who sailed in a Spanish expedition in 1592 to seek the fabled Strait of Anián.

You lock the tiller insuring that "Fiddlers Green" will maintain course.

In a quick motion you stand, turn, and jump into the sea.

With a massive splash you disappear beneath the waves. When you resurface the boat is already 100 feet away and still sailing. You watch Kirsten scream as she frantically pulls the tiller, does anything she can to turn the boat and come back to you.

You know she will eventually figure out how to unlock the steering and you are confident she will remember enough of what you taught her to sail the boat to land.

You have another plan, one you first devised months ago and have been working towards ever since.

With a relieved sigh you sink down.

Forever.

After several minutes and 6 Poptarts you suddenly realize you cant breath.

You are choking!

You struggle to clear your throat to no avail. You attempt to perform the Heimlich maneuver on yourself bus only succeed in making yourself vomit.

Finally, turning blue, you crumple to the ground in a slurry of vomit and Poptart crumbs.

You are dead and no one cares because your life was worthless.

People have a tendency to create branches where the character dies. To prevent the story from being just a tree with all dead ends:
