You can't take it anymore. You don't deserve to be here! Your sobbing is quiet at first, as you collapse into the white sheet and wrap it around yourself like a frightened child. Soon, your sobs are loud enough to echo from the stone walls of your prison. The heavy sounds of footsteps come abruptly from the stairwell hidden in the corner of the room. Fear stops your tears when the terrifying cause of the footsteps reveals itself.

He grins when he sees you; with half his teeth broken off it seems the parody of happiness. But the look in his eyes as he runs his tongue over the shattered smile is genuine and terrifying. He slowly ambles toward you, revealing a muscled but broken figure that towers several feet above you. His mammoth hands grasp at the open air as you instinctively crawl backwards across the stone floor, trying desperately to increase the distance between you. What does he want from you?

You cower in terror when he stands before you. '''''Please don't eat me...''''' you whimper pitifully as he leans down with one hand, seizes you by the throat and lifts you up against the wall. He tears the white sheet to pieces, exposing your beautiful, naked figure in the dim light. You would scream, but the pressure on your throat is too strong, and he finally reveals what he wants when he licks the side of your face with his misshapen tongue. He uses his free hand and crudely caresses your breasts, his thickly calloused thumb rubbing your nipples hard enough that your skin bruises instantly.

The hideous hunchback unbuckles his burlap pants and exposes a limp cock the length of your forearm. He continues to lick your face, neck and arms until he becomes fully aroused. While you scream without a voice, he groans from the discomfort of being erect and instincively positions himself between your legs - he thrusts wildly, like an animal, until he manages to slip the leaking, bulbous head of his cock inside you. Your eyes go wide with shame and pain, but he does not relent and quickens in pace. Your mind shatters as he grotesquely shoves in and out of you, pinning you helplessly to the wall.

With every thrust his grip on your throat tightens until, mercifully, he breaks your neck and grants your death. Several minutes later, as your lifeless body continues to pleasure the monster, he hisses and roars when he ejaculates obscene amounts of vile cum inside your womb. He then notices that you are dead and leaves your bloody corpse in the slaughterhouse where, eventually, it is consumed by rats.

'''YOU ARE DEAD'''
As your headache begins to subside, your thoughts come in a confused jumble. You're don't know this place, you realise in fright. From your position on the floor, the room looks utterly alien to you. You can just make out the shadows of misshapen forms dangling from the ceiling above you. A chill runs down your spine, and you quickly glance away. As you do, you think you hear a dull groan in the distance. Your breath comes in short, panicked bursts, catching in your throat. It sounded close enough that you'll have to be quiet if you don't want it to hear you.

The stone floor is cold against your bare skin. Peering downward, you see nothing but a thin, white sheet draped across your slender frame. It wraps around you closely, hugging your full breasts and rounded hips, leaving little to the imagination.
A great wooden table, stained crimson, takes up the center of the room, while large slabs of meat, ''hopefully not human'', dangle from metal hooks all around you. From the smell of things, not ''all'' of the meat is fresh.

There is a small, barred window on the far wall. As you approach it, the cold evening breeze drifts easily through the thin sheet shielding you and teases a trail of goosebumps across your bare skin. A heavy rain falls on the grass beyond your reach, bringing water through the window and down the rough-hewn stone walls of the room. You shiver - whether it's more from the cold or fear is anyone's guess. You realise that you're trapped in a building with no immediate way to escape. What's worse, you're not sure if the bars are meant to keep things from ''getting in''... or to keep something from ''getting out''. Tears form on your soft, pale cheeks and run down your face. They are the warmest thing you've felt since awakening, as you wonder ''why'' some one has held you here.
Seems I'm not the only one who's been having trouble with this... I can't help but notice some heavy abuse of the article tagging system. I was wondering if the TagNimbus system had some sort of way to edit the tags on an article because there's been many times that I've seen things that are out of place and could use removing. Take the tags for the Sandbox for example... --[[User:TheElderOnes|TheElderOnes]] 03:39, 6 April 2011 (UTC)
I'll not do that again, then (at least within the scope of SSR as it's your baby) - to be fair, though, I have seen plenty of published CYOA stuff that has a similar situation of you-the-reader choosing things that are completely outside you-the-character's control, though to be honest it did always feel a bit weird to me at the time. --[[User:Sisauq|Sisauq]] 20:45, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
I welcome any tips and corrections you are willing to provide I simply and respectfully request that you keep the sarcasm to a minimum. Hey platypus, I some how got signed out and noticed that when I am not signed in that half the links in both stories I am working on disappeared in the catagory page of the story. I signed back in and they all showed up again. Is there a difference on how the pages are catagorized when signed in verses signed out? I also noticed this was also true of the sub catagories as well. Just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks! --[[User:Blackdragon25|Blackdragon25]] 03:21, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Terrified at the thought of running past the armored knights, in case some of them may be real, you decide to flee past the paintings. The sound of your heavy footsteps echo through the hallway, the pitter-patter of soft flesh against stone floors. Then, for the smallest of seconds, you hear it...

''Click.''

Shivering in the moment of confusion, you turn wildly around the hall trying to discover the sound's origination. As you scan the room, you notice that every painting, though different in subject, ''contain massive amounts of the color red''. You exhale deeply when you're hit by something, not even feeling the pain until a wetness forms across your soft abdomen. The next few hits are more meaningful, as they cause you to lose grip on the bedsheet, which sprawls like a blowing leaf to the floor below.

They are needles, you realize, that have been shot at you through tiny cracks in the wall's surface. Dozens strike you from the front and back, rivets of blood flying through the air creating a crude, sanguine and abstract painting. Your beautiful body, now riddled with holes, collapses lifelessly on the cold floor, in a posture of surprise. The last thing you see are that the paintings themselves ''do not contain red'' but have been painted with the blood of the unfortunate victims that walked the same path before you.

And no one will ever know.

Hurrying behind a bookshelf in the darkest corner of the room, away from the fireplace, you hug the bedsheet closely against your nakedness and hold your breath. Time slows to a crawl for several painful seconds when the footsteps cease, you believe they may have moved on, and the library door swings open.

A grotesque, monstrous hunchback enters the room, sniffing the air like a dog catching scent. He pauses at the fireplace to warm his hands by the fire, missing your wet footsteps on the floor. After a few minutes pass, your legs still shaking in terror at being caught, the hunchback leaves through the terrace windows and enters the courtyard. He will undoubtedly discover you missing from the slaughterhouse any minute!

When you're certain he's far enough away, you enter through the library door. You've now entered a hallway with two dead ends, a door standing at the end of each corridor; knights in armor adorn the walls of one hall while paintings adorn the other.

Running to the window, you hurriedly manage to pry open the rusty locks keeping it shut. Again, the cold evening breeze brings dampness that chills your bare skin. You push the wooden slats upward and, indeed, you believe that you could shimmy through the window if you had enough time. The library window leads outside the walls of the courtyard, with a twenty foot fall to freedom. ''If you just had enough time''...

But time is not a luxury when the library door flings open and a grotesque, monstrous hunchback enters. Biting your lip in terror, so hard it bleeds, you thrust your arms through the window and struggle to pull your torso through. Your upper body makes it through, your bare breasts dangling outside the library wall as you use the palms of your hands to try and pull yourself completely out.

Then, something terrible happens. Rough, calloused hands seize your ankles and pull the white sheet from off your body. In a panic, you twist and writhe to try and break free of the monster's hold on your lower limbs but he easily overpowers you. You feel slick warmth when he nuzzles his misshapen nose against your sex and begins hungrily sucking your pussy with his cracked lips and sandpaper tongue. You break into heavy sobs and whimper in vain, struggling to break free from the unwanted molesting, but lack the strength. '''''No...''''' you whisper, defeatedly, as you feel you body responding to the monstrous fiend between your thighs.

The tears that stream down your face match your shame as the crude treatment brings you to an orgasm you did not want and feel horrified for having. You cover your mouth in deep sorrow, wondering ''who you could've been'' to deserve this. The hunchback releases his grip on your legs in this moment of pity as you fall from the windowsill, white bedsheet swirling around you, and land with a loud crack twenty feet below. ''If you'd just had enough time''...

Somehow you survived the fall but your back is broken. Three days pass before your death, the last thing you see are the crows feasting on your shattered legs.

The rainy breeze becomes stronger when you climb out of the slaughterhouse, though the rain itself has ceased. You emerge in a central courtyard, completely surrounded by massive stone walls at least twenty feet tall. The grass feels wet beneath your feet as you nervously inspect the area, following a path of stones that leads to the terrace windows of a library. Many of the glass panels of the window are broken and appear derelict but there is light coming from within.

With no real alternative, you enter the library cautiously, but find it warm and inviting. A great fire burns in a central hearth. Dozens of bookshelves are arranged in rows, though two more pressing things get your attention: ''a window without bars'' on one wall and ''an oak door''. While you consider which course of action would be better, and you think you can squeeze yourself through the window, the heavy sound of footsteps coming toward the library door reawaken your horror.

Your heart pounds in your chest, as your feet twist in a moment of panic, while trying to decide.

You realize that the room you are in serves as some kind of slaughterhouse. The great wooden table covered with bloodstains takes up the center of the room, while large slabs of meat, ''hopefully not human'', dangle from metal hooks all around you. A small window, with metal bars, lets in the chilled evening breeze. Rain falls heavily on the grass beyond your reach, bringing water through the window and down the roughly hewn stone walls of the room.

The rain and cold wind cause you to shiver, your teeth chattering from the temperature and from fear. You realize that you're trapped in a building with no immediate chance of escape. And are the bars meant to keep things from ''getting in''... or things from ''getting out''? Tears form on your soft, pale cheeks and run down your face. They are the warmest thing you've felt since awakening, as you wonder ''why'' some one has held you here.

Wiping away the tears, you notice a narrow stairwell in the corner that blends in with the stonework.

Your sobbing echoes through the stone room of your prison, as you collapse in the white sheet and wrap it around yourself like a frightened child. The heavy sounds of footsteps come from the stairwells hidden in the corner of the room, when the terrifying cause of them reveals itself - a shirtless hunchback appears at the base of the stairwell.

He grins when he sees you, with half his teeth broken off it seems the parody of happiness. But the look in his eyes as he runs his tongue over the shattered smile is genuine and terrifying. He slowly ambles toward you, revealing a muscled but wracked figure that towers several feet above you. His mammoth hands grasp at the open air as you instinctively crawl backwards across the stone floor trying desperately to increase the distance, your mind runs wild with fear at what he wants.

You cower in terror when he stands before you. '''''Please don't eat me...''''' you whimper pitifully as he leans down with one hand, seizes you by the throat and lifts you up against the wall. He tears the white sheet to pieces, exposing your beautiful, naked figure in the dim light. You would scream but the pressure on your throat is too strong, and he finally reveals what he wants when he licks the side of your face with a misshapen tongue.

Your eyes go wide with shame and pain, though he does not relent and quickens in pace. Your mind shatters as he grotesquelly shoves in and out of you, pinning you helplessly to the wall.

You look out the window and see some low clouds, a few nondescript buildings and a whole lot of trees. On the hillside you see a group of large buildings that you recognize from pictures. They're just a few of the many dormitories at State University. There are going to be many new things to learn, and a lot of people to meet; certainly far more than there were in the town you used to call home. You grin to yourself and get your stuff together. You've been working hard for the last three years to get here. Your parents would have been proud.

You walk off the bus and the bus driver gives you a weird look, as if he's not sure why you were on his bus. You head into the bus station's bathroom to clean up a bit and are shocked to see yourself in the mirror. You are exactly what the Voice said you'd be! You can hardly think straight. What the hell are you supposed to do? For lack of anything better to do at the moment, you decide to walk up the hill toward the University. Time to live the life!

You head up the hill, lugging a large duffle on your shoulder. The campus is still a few blocks away, but already you see there are some cute girls here. They're a lot different than the girls in high school, that's for sure. A few of them disappear into a café. You're tempted to follow them in and try to strike up a conversation.

But up ahead you hear the bell tower on campus ringing and it reminds you that you need to get the keys to your dorm room and get settled in. Classes start in the morning. There'll be plenty of time for girls later. You laugh to yourself; an hour ago, you never would have been able to think like that.

Finally, you get to the campus and get a good look at what will be your home for the better part of the next four years: State University. It's not a bad looking place. It's really a fairly typical university campus, but it's home now.

You decide you don't want to mess with fate. So you live out your college days as a disfigured social outcast. You work hard in the physics and mathematics departments and earn your bachelor's degree in three years.

It's a miserable life, though. No friends. Even your professors don't like to spend time with you. To make matters worse, you fantasize constantly about women you know you will never have. You masturbate several times a day. You begin to hate women ... and yourself. The self-loathing is profound.

After three more years you are well on your way to a PhD and you're working to find a way to change your fate. It's the only thing you live for (besides the dark sexual obsession you've developed for several of the most attractive undergraduate females, which you keep alive with surrepticiously captured photos you've taken of them over the years.)

Through your research, you hope to give yourself the chance, once more, to avoid this horrible life. Maybe, just maybe, you will choose differently this time. Your research is finally done and you think you have it figured out. You are ready to test the equipment that will create a time/fate loop and enable you to give your old self a chance to alter his fate. You go to the lab at night to avoid attention. You are one of the few students with a key to this lab, since the professors have asked you to get your work done at night.

But on your way to your lab, you hear the muffled gasps and moans of a couple having sex in one of the research offices. You crack open the door slowly and see 50-year-old Professor Komarovsky, a man you have worked with in the past, fucking a girl from behind. You instantly recognize the girl he has bent over a desk as Tamara, one of the most attractive of the girls you've become obsessed with over the last three years. She's a senior. She's on the volleyball team. You know everything about her. She has actually been nice to you once or twice. She's spoken to you before. Her kindness made you want her all the more. You had imagined her to be a princess among whores. You suddenly remember that her grades have fallen drastically since her boyfriend dumped her, announced he was gay, and started dating other men. And you then guess that the old bastard Komarovsky is taking advantage of her. He's fucking her because he can. Because she needs to graduate.

Komarovsky is fucking her hard ... and, as any hotblooded young female would, Tamara's loving it. She's moaning loudly and thrusting her ass up high to take all of him as he repeatedly forces all of his thick cock inside her. His jaw is clinched and he's pulling her head back by her hair. You feel your own hard dick straining against your pants.

"Goddamn you!" she shouts. "Fuck me, you bastard! Fuck!"

He obliges, pounding her still harder. Her firm ass is pink with sweat and heat. Her deep red, engorged nipples are rock hard and they jut out from her small breasts. Her eyes are shut tight and her mouth is hanging open in ecstasy.

Your own dick is throbbing to the rhythm of their fucking and you're filled with a mixture of jealousy, passion, self-loathing and hate as you continue to look on. All you can think about is killing that piece of shit professor and fucking that bitch who played herself off as a pure girl. Even so, you begin to stroke yourself and you can tell she is close to cumming.

"Oh, God!" she screams, and then she cascades into a loud, long orgasm. Komarovsky is pleased with himself. He's wearing a smirk on his face as he continues his fucking, slowing a bit to match Tamara's orgasmic rhythm.

You hate him. And her. Unthinking, you burst into the room. Your passion has gotten the best of you. You runheadlong toward the professor, tackling him hard against the corner of a table. You hear a loud popping noise. He's motionless. He gasps for air. You let him go and he falls to the ground.

"Oh my God!" Tamara screams, "You've broken his back, you freak! What the fuck!?!"

You turn on Tamara. She's clearly frightened and repulsed by you. She screams as you approach.

"Get away from me!" she shouts and she runs for the door, leaving her clothes behind. On the way, she pulls the fire alarm. She's gone.

You are left alone with the professor. You turn to him. He's still breathing. He looks at you with dread, fear, hatred, disgust.

You remember your invention, your research. It will be the only way out of this hell. You run to your lab, turn on the equipment, begin the time/fate loop, and wait.

The fire alarm is still sounding. You find yourself, back on that bus, soon to arrive at State U. You reach out, you tell yourself the story, you give yourself the choice. Now the fire alarm has stopped. The authorities are in the building. No more time. If your younger self chooses a different life, you know the you of today will be destroyed and you will no longer exist. You wait. You wait still longer. Longer. The cops are in the hall. You can hear them. They're coming for you.

Could it be that your old self chose the same wretched fate?! Damnit! 15 minutes have passed! You would have been destroyed by now!

...The cops arrest a mumbling, wretched piece of flesh. The creature's mind is gone. They hardly recognize a human. It's disgusting work, but they take this thing back to the precinct, book it, and forget about it. Months later, a grovelling, filthy, deformed animal is sentenced to life in prison for the rape of Tamara and the murder of Komarovsky.

THE END

Vortex: Feel free to revert back if you don't like the changes. I was just thinking that a few of the descriptions could be spiced up and the character's thoughts couldbe a little more distinct.

You must be dreaming. Dreaming of hen fap ...

It is a dream. It has to be. The last thing you remember is being on the bus, heading to State University. There is no way that this ''place'' is the bus. You aren't sure if you are actually ''seeing'' anything or if the strange, colorful lights before you are figments of your imagination. It feels as if your six-foot, thin frame, wracked by disease, is being suspended in space by some invisible force.

Out of the void comes the Voice.

"Focus. There isn't much time."

That voice... you've definitely heard it before, many times... but where? Without allowing you to gather your wits, it continues.

"We've only got a matter of seconds. This is going to sound farfetched, but you ''must'' listen to me. I am the future you. The research I've been working on for the last six years at State U has finally led me to this one chance. I know you've always wished you could be someone else... anyone else. All the ridicule and teasing would be over. No one would judge you by your revolting facial disfiguration. No one would ever know about your other horrible physical deformities. I know you've always wanted this because I ''am'' you. I have been working for six years to be able to go back to this day and give you this chance... This one chance to forever change your destiny. This chance to be whoever you want to be for the rest of your life."

How can this be true? How can you be speaking to yourself? Then again, how can the strange world of colors be real? At worst, this is some kind of bizarre dream. At best... perhaps you ''are'' being given a chance to change your future for the better.

"Our time is almost up. In a moment you will make a choice and I will be destroyed. Don't hesitate. I want to die. I must kill this self so that you - or rather, my old self - can make a change. You can be someone better! But I can't choose for you. The program is designed to give you three random choices. You'll have to decide... without me to help you."

Your mind is reeling. Can this be happening? It seems more real now than ever. ''I don't have to be the deformed weirdo that I've always been? I might not have to deal with all the physical and emotional pain of being a disgusting creature that people never willingly choose to look at? Might I have the chance to someday be loved?''

The Voice becomes more urgent:

"Listen, we're out of time. You'll see three choices in your mind's eye. Pick one. Don't ever look back. It's my gift to you. Live well... live the life that I could not."

With that, you are left in an eerie silence. A set of shapes begin to materialize in front of you. Letters. Words. Your choices! ''God! Could this be real?''

You realize you must pick one. But which? How can you be asked to make such a choice? Remember, you'll have to live with the results for the rest of your life.

Do you:
*[[female, 5'8", 121 lbs, pretty face, slim figure]]
*[[male, 6 feet, 195 lbs, athletic, handsome, moderately smart]]
*[[make no changes and live out my life as it would normally go]]
