Many of the people on Sam's routes regularly check their e-mails, making it an easy and cheap way for Sam to notify them of important things like when payments are due and when they will be getting special inserts. One day as Sam is delivering papers he reads the front page headline "Candidates Prepare for Upcoming Election Day." Sam considers how important it is for all of his customers to vote and sends out an e-mail informing them of how near election day is. When his e-mail is well received Sam sees an opportunity to better serve his clients. Sam types up the newspaper headlines as a taste of what's to come and sends them out to his e-mail list before going on his delivery route. So many people liked this that his e-mails were being forwarded all over! Sam recognizes this as a business goldmine and with the support of his local newspaper turns on-line and e-mail news updates into a profitable million dollar business.

Sam profits quite a bit from his stock purchase, and uses cash to pay up front for his next motorcycle.

Brad refuses and comes home bitter and empty handed. When Sam's moped is stolen he doesn't tell the police he suspects Brad of taking it, but decides to take matters into his own hands and burn down Brad's garage! When Sam is caught and convicted of arson, he is thrown into a Juvenile Detention center for two years for rehabilitation.

As a token of his gratitude Brad pays Sam twenty dollars for the repair and promises to tell all of his moped-riding friends about Sam's amazing work. Just a few weeks later one of Brad's friends needs help replacing a tire and comes to Sam. Sam puts on a new tire making another friend and a few more dollars. Sam decides to take Auto Shop class in school and begin his own moped repair service. His dedication and hard work pay off when eventually Sam becomes a renowned moped and motorcycle repair man with the biggest repair shop in the state.

When Fred expresses concern about being able to fulfill the duties of a new newspaper delivery boy Sam makes a deal with him. If Fred does the actual delivery of the newspapers, Sam will help Fred roll and bag the newspapers when necessary for just a fifteen percent cut of Fred's profits. Fred eagerly agrees and with Sam's help becomes a very successful newspaper delivery boy. When Sam's boss hears what happened he commends Sam on his innovative management skills and recommends that all new hires work with Sam prior to starting their own routes. When Sam's boss finally moves to a new town, Sam takes over his position and is put in charge of all newspaper delivery boys and girls in his town. This makes everyone happy and makes Sam lots of money.

Sam buys her a salted pretzel with nacho cheese dipping sauce. She thanks him and then gobbles it down in only two bites! She smiles sweetly, thanks him, and then asks if he'd like to go shopping with her at the Journeys Shoe Store around the corner. Sam doesn't particularly like shoe shopping, but he does like this girl, so he agrees to go. Hours later Icee girl has tried on almost every shoe in the store and convinced Sam to buy her seven pairs of shoes that were "just to die for." When he offers to give her a ride home she reminds him that there's no way he could take her and all of her new shoes on his little moped. Sam is out of luck and out of cash.

*Don't give too many options when starting a new story and leave half of them redlinked. Focus on a small number of story threads at first.
*Outline a general plan for what the intention of your story is when you start it: What genre and themes it belongs to.

People have a tendency to create branches where the character dies. To prevent the story from being just a tree with all dead ends:
*For each page where you kill the player's character, you must create at least 2 pages (with content) where s/he can go on.
*Please stick to the theme and setting of the story, and discuss ideas for major changes on the discussion pages. Although creativity is encouraged, radical plot changes and inconsistencies will ruin the flow.
*If something is off topic, remove it.
*Try to capitalize and spell your words correctly.

If a page is not yet complete, add it to Category:Pages Under Construction so people know the editor is still working on it and it does not need to have someone improve it.
