“What are you looking at?” You sneer.
He looks at you throw bloodshot and bleary eyes. “I can look at whatever I want!” He says downing another can of Coors light. “You don’t talk to ME like that. I’m your father!”
“Whatever, why don’t you snap out of it and get a job!” You retort turning your attention back to the TV. Suddenly you hear the sound of something light being hurled through the air. You see a flash of light and feel a sudden stabbing pain on the side of your forehead. A crumpled beer can plinks down to the floor. Your father just hit you in the head with a beer can.
“You big jerk!” You yell at him.
“They fired me you stupid bitch! They fired ME!” He shouts at you.
“I hate you!” You seethe and then storm off to your bedroom.
“Where are you going?” He yells after you.
“I’m going to go to work!” You didn’t have to work that night, but your father didn’t know that. If anything you could pick up an extra shift.
