"Morning, Charlotte." you greet her as you sit down. Her eye twitches for a moment, but then she replies with: "Mornin'..."
She's looking paler than usual today. Just like you, Charlotte's heavily addicted to various drugs, the main one being meth which she cooks in a trailer not far from school. You're not the greatest of friends, but you help supply each other with goods from time to time.
"I've got the itch," she mumbles and scratches her arm. "I haven't had a fix since last night and I think I'm coming down..."
You zone out while she speaks, and look around instead. There's not that many others on the bus, since you live far from school, but there are a few.
On the seat in front of you, Melvin the nerd is typing on his calculator. A skinny guy with thick glasses and prominent overbite. He's a bit of an outcast, like you, though you've never spoken to each other.
A bit in front of him, 'Otto the Athlete' is sitting. A broad-shouldered mountain of muscles with shaved head and a teen moustache. He's apparently convinced that girls like strong guys, though he looks more frightening than attractive.
"...And if I don't, he'll totally beat the shit out of me." Charlotte finishes.
