Introduction

I'd like to tell you a story. Sort of. You'll be helping out, of course. No, don't look at me like that! It's your story anyway, and a right pretty tale, too. How would it look if you just sat there and let me do all the work? Lazy bones.

Don't worry, though. You won't have to do much, just sit and give a little input now and then. Honest, mind. Even when the choices get tough, even when the metaphorical stakes are high and lives hang in the balance, I want you to be brave enough to tell me truthfully what choices you would make. Got that? Of course you do.

Oh, and one more little thing. Nothing to worry your little head about, it’s just…. Well, the thing about this story is it ain’t finished yet. Yes, I know. The shoes are on the other hooves now with the whole “lazy bones” thing, but calm down. I’ve got a solution. Seeing as how this is your story, I was thinking you could try your hoof at the writing game. If you happen to come to a place in the story where I ain’t got nothing left to tell you, how’s about you just keep on going with it? I’m sure it don’t matter how good of a tale-teller you are, just as long as you stay true to flavor of it all. If you want to know a few more specifics on that, you could read these here rules. Do you think you could do that? I’d be much obliged if you did.

So. We begin.

Close your eyes, and imagine yourself back in... well let's see now. I can't quite remember. Do you think you could lend me a hoof? Think back, now. Where were you, the day that it all changed, and this story started?

Of course. Back in Ponyville!
