You are Forest Speyer an ex member of the S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team. After S.T.A.R.S. had been disbanded you tried to get back into the police again but since you got suspended you couldn't. So since then you have spent your time preparing for what you knew was to come. The outbreak. And you, and the rest of the S.T.A.R.S. members, were right.
It struck like an bolt of lightning from a clear sky. Suddenly the police radio was flooded with reports about psychos attacking and eating people. No one knew what was going on, beside the S.T.A.R.S. members. It didn't take very long before people finally started to belive what you said was true and while some still tried to deny the truth they soon changed their minds.
The police tried to slow the spread of the virus but because of the infected rats and birds it was very difficult to seal the infected parts of the city off so in no time more than half the city was infected.
But now there may be an chance to stop them. The intel gathered by police helicopters hints to that the main ¨force¨ of the zombies is gathering up and is moving towards the uninfected parts of the city and they take the quickest way to get there, main street. This can be the chance the R.P.D has been waiting for. The Select Police Force leaders quickly draw up an plan to set up an massive road block at main street and to halt the zombies there and maybe, just maybe, stop them once and for all. And better yet, Umbrella inc (the main company in the city and in the country) has sent their private military U.B.C.S. (Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service) to help out.
But now you have to ask youreself, do you really want to help them? They didn't listen to you and taunted you and your team mates when you told them the truth. But on the other hand if you don't help them a lot of people can die.
