You walk proudly and fearlessly past your younger brother toward your private chambers. Showing Bram that he is an insignificant gnat makes your heart pump with victory. With a shake of you fist and a crack of the neck, you relax out of your combat instincts but that was your last mistake. Never thinking Bram was rash enough to use his sword might have been blocked by your sinful pride.

A quick jab to your back and you look down to see the sword protruding from your chest right under neath your ribcage. The blade drips blood and your body powerless. Finally you drop to the floor looking at your killer. Bram stands there with a flush of his hatred gone, worry overtakes him and he bolts for an escape. You close your eyes thinking you'll see him in the next life.
