You go for the knife. He aims for your leg, then stops, puts the gun down, and laughs. You're puzzled, as you're sure he saw the knife. Then you realize you were tied. You couldn't reach it even if your life depended on it, which it may. "Didn't think that through did ya, kid?" He knocks you out with the butt of the pistol.
