You gain some control on your decent and think maybe you could steer yourself to water or a marshmallow factory or something.
One lucky thing is you slammed into a black-browed albatross at about 1,000 feet. They're rare in the North Atlantic.
You and the albatross soon become dead when you splatter onto a rocky little island off Bermuda. Birds pick at you corpses for days before you're found.
