I brushed the guy's hand away and looked him over. He was probably 21 or 22 and thought he had the right to touch any girl he wanted, as if she was his for the taking. With a face like his, that might be true.
I walked away from the table to find Mark. He was in the back eating a mozzarella stick. "The jerks at Table 42 just touched me." He stared at me blankly. "Touched me inappropriately," I continued.
"Oh," he said. "Well that's not right. I'll go talk to them, and I'll have Courtney cover them until the leave."
In the last thirty minutes of my shift, I didn't see Mark leave the office to talk to the rude guests, but at least 8:00 was here, and my shift was over.
