"My pimp called last night." she mumbles.
You instantly remember Charlottes pimp. He used to be her boyfriend back when she lived the clean life. Initially he was nice, gave her attention and bought her expensive stuff. But then he pushed her into taking crack. It didn't take long for her to get addicted, and it took even shorter until all her money had been spent on getting her next fix.
He then revealed himself as a pimp. Already, he had four other girls working for him. And just like Charlotte, they were addicted to crack. He offered to get her more, but in return, she had to sleep with other men for money.
Of course, all the money went to him. Charlotte's payment was crack, and not that much either.
She continued: "I've been working a bit off the record to earn my own money, you know. And that now he's found out, he says he'll kill me unless I pay him back what I earned."
"So?" you reply. "Just give him the money you earned from whoring on your own."
"Fucking idiot!" she snaps at you, her manic eyes growing larger. "I've spent the fucking money, otherwise I would've given it to him instantly!"
She takes a few deep breaths, then apologizes.
