We only want a few stories on the Main Page as a representative sampling. Of course ''everyone'' wants their story in front, but adding to the Main Page every time someone thinks their story deserves more attention will just lead to the problem we had when all the stories were on the Main Page: an unworkable, unreadable, massive mess. --[[User:Platypus|Platypus]] 16:09, 6 January 2013 (UTC) | We only want a few stories on the Main Page as a representative sampling. + | There are no guidelines as of yet and we haven't added any stories to the Main Page since the relatively recent big cleanup job that led to the current format where we have only a few stories on the Main Page and the rest on subpages. Again, we do not want to increase the number of stories on the Main Page. Every author will have a reason why their story belongs there and not just on a subpage. I appreciate your asking and not just editing the Main Page as some people try doing, but the Main Page simply cannot accommodate every story, or even every worthy story. We tried that way. It did not work. --[[User:Platypus|Platypus]] 16:56, 6 January 2013 (UTC) |

Please make sure to include the title of the story as a category on each page you post. If you don't know how to add categories, please review the Tutorial, especially Basic page format.--Platypus 06:56, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, I was going to add that once I had the first few pages up and working. --Holvard 14:49, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
