You decide that your home will be the safest place to run to. You have a sturdy wooden door to hide behind and a nice sharp knife under your bed to defend yourself.
Turning a corner as you run wildly through the night streets, you are startled to see a large wooden door spring up from the ground to your immediate left. The upper torso of a man clad entirely in black emerges from the underground opening.
He holds out a hand to stop you, "You are in great danger. Come with me and I can protect you."
