You settled on creating a seelie pixie first. The unseelie ones were amusing, but you felt they needed a good counterpart before anything.

You created a faerie spring, deep inside a forest, using a drop of your blood. After making sure has flown and filled properly, you cast your senses around you, searching for a mortal to make your child. You find a suitable one surprisingly fast: a woodcutter's son, currently picking mushrooms in the forest, alone. His gender was of no relevance: he would gain a new body when he becomes your child. Only what was inside of his heart mattered, and you liked what you were seeing. He was an innocent dreamer, carefree and fun loving, not overly concerned with worldly responsibilities.

He had a light brown hair and blue eyes, and a strong body for a boy of his age. No doubt he had been helping his father with his profession.
