You try to sound as normal as possible when you open your mouth. You can spy a little on Jessica's thoughts so you know what she could say.
You: "Okay, I can't hold it any longer. You guys know this wasn't the real reason I invited you here..."
Brad: "Sweet, I knew you didn't believe in ghosts."
Simon: "Really? I still think it could work..."
You: "Oh, Simon, maybe one day. But today is a special day... Brad, I kind of like you. And simon, I love you..."
Simon: "What? Really?"
Brad: "Oh, that's just cute. So, what's up?"
Simon is blushing, and you realize he's been in love with you for a long time. You can feel Jessica's terror inside you when she realizes it and can't do anything about it.
