"Congratulations! You won the award for asking a question everyone else in the room had asked!" The boy with blonde hair spat sarcastically.
"You mean everyone doesn't remember..." you trail off. Now that you thought about it, not a single memory appears in your mind. You still remember breathing, food, bathroom hygiene, just, no specific dates, names... people. You stare at everyone in the room, their faces unfamiliar to you. I could have been with these people since I was born for all I know!
The boy with black hair smiles sadly at you. "Kinda hard getting used to."
"No kidding," you reply, taking a shaky breath.
You glance around the plain white rectangular room. It was small, but big enough to hold five beds and still have walking space. A small window is the only source of knowing what time of day it is, plastic covers it, but you can see faint light coming through, although it was useless with the harsh fluorescent glow of the ceiling lights. You carefully note that the only way out appears to be a door, with no hinges, no doorknob, and looks to be sealed shut.
