Her face gets burned into your mind and you can't stop thinking about her, but work is work and you're already late.

You drive on past her. You're cruising pretty fast when the engine suddenly quits on you. You coast to a stop by the side of the road. You get out and kick the car and curse at the car, but nothing you do gets it to move.  Luckily, you're not all that far from a bus stop.

Happyly your boss doesn't notice the fact that you got there more tha one hour late. So you enter your office and start working as fast as possible so you can compensate the lost time.
