You are not yet fully awake, but your mind registers three distinct sounds. Two are voices, and the third, a low whooshing noise.</br>
"It's too noisy."</br>
"Shut up..."</br>
"But the noise..."</br>
"Go jiggle the handle then!"</br>
You awaken from the shout, the voice oddly familiar. Even as you sit upright, you quickly realize that the second voice had been your own, and the first, a figment of your imagination. The other noise fills your head instead, becoming more urgent the longer it persists.</br>
The light spilling in from around the ratty cotton curtain stings your eyes when you open them. The room does not seem that familiar.</br>
