The radio scratches. Dispatch wants to know if you’re still interested in a ride, the client is just a couple of blocks away from you. Apparently he or she’s going downtown which is totally not your direction. On the other hand the afternoon has been really slow and the extra money could come handy.

Or just head home to your cats and the cold microwave dinner waiting for you?
