You open the unit on the left of the port that you entered by. This is probably the most conveniently placed unit, since it avoids having to walk down the other end of the room.
The door seals and a blue light fills the room.
"Scanning, scanning for hazards," crackles a voice. "Obstruction detected. Please remove your protective suit." You obey. "Unknown biological activity detected. Dispensing Gulry spray." Then ... nothing happens.

Your party, awaiting you on the other side of the chambers, rush over to find that the chamber has been completely destroyed. One of the engineers surmises that this unit, the first one as you come in, had been used so much that it would have been the first to fail.
