You exit the building through a window on the second floor and leave without a trace. In some other area of the city, you'd be better of on the rooftops, but here the building heights just vary too much. Also, that'd be the first place the guild would be looking for you anyway. You run away in the shadows of the back alleys, climbing over their tall fences, avoiding lights when there are people nearby, and avoiding anyone's line of sight even when you move in the shadows. No one notices you, and soon you end up far enough from the guild to plan your next move.
