+ | Hey, welcome to the site! I recommend checking out [[Basic page format]] along with the rest of the [[Tutorial]] before you do too much more editing. The page you added recently was missing a category, so I went ahead and added one. To add a category to pages in the future, copy paste this bit of text anywhere into the page editor:
+ | |||
+ | <nowiki>[[Category:Oops! You're Naked!]]</nowiki>
+ | |||
+ | In this case, the story's category is 'Oops! You're Naked!' Usually categories are named identically to the story (though not always), and every story page should have a bit of text at the bottom denoting the category (both outside and inside the editor, if that makes sense -- I recommend looking at the [[Tutorial]] and [[Basic page format]] pages, as they do a much better job at explaining than I do).
+ | |||
+ | Don't forget that CYOS pages need options! It's okay to just add redlinks to come back and write later, or even to just leave them for someone else to write. I put a few on the page you made, [[OYN/The kid from down the street you babysit]]. Click 'edit' at the top of that page to see what the links look like in the editor. If you need a little help with dialogue, [[Punctuation with dialogue]] is a good reference.

Please don't post incomplete pages. Complete pages include options so the story can continue. Also, please include the status bar and category from the previous page.
Incomplete pages will be edited or deleted.--Platypus 23:56, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
