You decide to walk down to his house. You pause outside, and float up to his window. Inside, you can see him sitting on his bed, asleep with Jane Eyre open in his lap. He, Jacob Glass, was a brave friend to be willing to stand up to your parents. You scan his mind and realize he has long had a crush on you.
